Due can also be related to frequency. Above number nine hit zero times in eleven. Ratios involve at least two values.

Let's do a pick-1-game. Numbers are 1 to 10. You pay 1 dollar, select one number and if the number is correct, you win 5 dollars. Normal appearance for a number is every 10th game average. The last eleven drawings were:

1 2 4 3 2 10 8 5 6 8 1

Number 1 was ripe to hit, it hit the tenth game after appearing. Number 9 is due, it didn't appear in eleven games.

Due generally means that a number or combination is out more games then average mathematically. So you need to know the mathematics and you need to seek how many games out is every number or combination. Pen and paper can do it.
