One place I stopped had a line, first line I seen here in years,

then on the way home from work on sat. I stopped for beer at a place that just started selling lottery,

was'nt a single person at that machine, I guess ppl. did'nt know they were selling tix there.

I will continue with the $19 a week I budgeted for lottery.

$7 for JC5

$2 for state 6/49 game

$4 for MM

$6 for Pb

For some folks who dumped a lot of cash on the big PB jackpot this must feel like a hangover.

People will spend it big when the next jackpot is big again I know that to be true. I could not imagine standing in line for hours to get a ticket like I saw people on the news this last saturday. That is crazy. Thank goodness we have lots of retailers her in oregon to buy from so no wait here.-weshar75

I think you would get the same reaction if you mentioned 1 winner or 5. For most people it doesn't matter how many other people won, the fact is, it wasn't them and now the jackpot is popped back to it's lowest point.

I have no problem that it was one winner! I wanted one winner (of course I wanted me). But to OP as I up my lines as the jackpots grew I will now be back to only my very basic numbers for the next several draws.

Most players will choose 1 winner, themselves. Mention 1 590$ winner out in the general public and look at their reaction.

That's your opinion, but definitely not shared by all.

In fact, in a recent poll on Lottery Post, most people said they would want just one winning ticket held by one person. And that poll was for a $1 billion jackpot.
