I can't see how buying a QP and playing that number multiple times would be different than playing any number multiple times. Players have systems for buying scratch-offs; call it luck, call it intuition, or call it anything. but if they're winning, they can call it successful.

I still doubt you'll find any real players that will continue to buy five $1 pick-3 QPs for over a year without cashing a winning ticket.

my most recent hit was last week with 609 paid $2,900.00

I usually play 10 or 20 times the number str/box

I usually bet $2 straight and $3 box on a double, but I never knew betting like that was a well kept secret because of a hidden agenda. Not much of secret because the payoffs are listed on the back of the tickets.

Geez jimbo. It has nothing to do with computers or programers. P3 and P4 are fixed payout games. Sometimes I like to play $5 straight to try for $25000. It's 10000 to 1 odds. It's playing the lottery. Which, if you haven't figured out by now, is what folks on this forum do.

Don't forget the tax man. If I play one $5 ticket it pays $2500.

If I play 5 $1 tickets, it pays the same.

Thing is, the tax man doesn't get to grab what he calls his fair share on the 5 $1 tickets since wins of $599 and less are non taxable.

One plausible reason someone would make 12 bets on the same number in a Pick-3 game would be that, at the time, the draws were computer generated and the bettor was one of the programmers at the lottery commission.

My personal best on the pick-3 was $6600 with $1 straight 12 times and one store cashed six tickets with no questions asked. The other six weren't actually tickets and was paid off by the other lottery .
