Ooops! The clerk told me it was all evening because it said Evening to Evening, but taking a closer look at the ticket it's 5 draws, 06/05/2013 Evening to 06/07/2013 Evening so it does go Evenoing to Midday to Evening to Midday to Evening.

I plaed a 5 draw advance ticket today just to see what would happen, if it would go evening to midday to evening, etc....but it was for 5 evening draws.

The clerk told me that if you play before 12:40 p.m. you'll get Midday and after 12:40 you'll get Evening, regardless of one draw or the number of advance draws.

Like allenrlis posted above, I thought there would be new playslips similar to My3, Midday, Evening, or Both.

I agree with this right here, it would certainly make purchasing more convenient. It may be coming but I suspect that North(whatever) that runs it for Illinois may be monitoring for purchasing trends.

Now with more opportunities to sell, it would be nice to see better odds even if JPs need to get knocked down some to keep the money flow right for the State.

I think that the mid day lucky day is OK but you should have new cards that give you a choice to play mid day , evening or both. Now people who want to play twice daily, have to go to the lottery agent twice in the same day. I think you should give this some consideration especially for seniors who enjoy playing the loto.

Maybe you have something with the less time between draws.

I've been playing a QP for the midday, if it hits nothing or $1 I play those numbers for the evening.

No system other than a WAG!

Congrats on the win coin toss, yea most store clerks are lost. I cashed in a dollar also, I did notice the number 14 repeated wonder if we will see more repeats, seems like less time between draws numbers tend to repeat more like p3 p4 something to watch out for Good luck.....

States are looking for ways to increase revenue. Charging $2 a ticket is one way. Increasing the number of draws is another. This fall Texas is going to have 4 P3 and P4 draws a day, up from 2 a day. They introduced the All or Nothing game last year at $2 a ticket, 4 draws a day.

Starting to get a little crazy. LOL.

I agree totally about the Ezmatch being a trap considering the odds and the payoff. I'd throw the extra buck at the jackpot when it's high enough.

I played one ticket, $10 for 2 draws to see what the playslip looks like. Only change is at the bottom:

Total $20.00

Illinois Lottery Website notes a rollover and new jackpot at $150,000. I was curious about the rollover amount and this is in line with the usual $50K-$75K increase when it was just drawn 1x per day.

Here's to hoping for better numbers tonight.

Got my ticket this morning it shows midday on ticket this is the game I mostly play, I play 10.00 every day now its gonna be 20.00 the ez match in my opinion is a waste, the odds of winning 500.00 is 1: 210,000 give me a break, take that dollar buy a scratch off odds way better. Looks like another marketing move by Northstar to turn a $1 affair into a $2 affair. Factor in Ez Match and what was a $1 ticket becomes a $4 ticket.

This seems to be a twist on Red Game / Green Game Keno. (Casino keno)

Todd, I see what you mean about posting the the jackpots, guess a midday to an evening rollover is a new situation.

I'm not discounting it entirely but at first glance, I'm not in favor of it. I had a lower JP level set before I'd play but have recently been thinking of trapping instead. Have not decided how to approach this yet as I don't typically set numbers until the evening. We'll see how it shakes out but I don't think the midday draw is going to pull much action. Will be curious to see how the increments work for the rolls.

I like the idea if for no other reason that it will bump up the jackpot twice as fast. I don't play until the jackpot matches the odds, which is at $575k, so any way to get there faster will allow me more plays. Otherwise it can take a week or longer for it to get from $100k to $575k.

Thanks for the info. I got behind on my Lucky Day Lotto charts and was trying to catch up, but I won't bother with it now since there will be two drawings a day. Instead, I'll gather data for the regular Lotto game and start playing that from now on.

Lucky Day Lotto looks a lot like Ohio's Rolling Cash5, if they end up selling twice as many tickets with the change I could see Ohio wanting to add a midday drawing for RC5 too.

I got confirmation from the Illinois Lottery that the Lucky Day Lotto game (formerly called Little Lotto) will be adding a midday drawing in June.

The midday drawing will happen at 12:40 pm CDT every day, and the evening drawing will remain at 9:22 pm CDT.

The midday and evening drawings will share the same rolling jackpot, so that means the jackpot will increase twice a day.
