Government lotteries, in this lifetime Germany 1970.

Nobody introduced me to the lottery but when I found out Missouri had one my friends and I would have to go to the Missouri's State Line coz in 1986 Kansas didn't hav a lottery. I remember my first win $70 from a Missouri Baseball scratch-off. Then 1988 Kansas put in a lottery. So now I play in Kansas. have won several times in Kansas. Biggest win $100 2x from 2by2

oh around 12 my mother showed me how to play, and check the tickets. um i helped fill out the tickets, and prob around 18 started playing on my own, have played on and off ever since. now 46

Started back in 72, they only had scratchers then, so it was only an occasional ticket here and there.

Been playing ever since, except when living in non lottery states.

Well, when I turned 16 in the UK you can legally play the lottery. So as most people do I bought 1 ticket just because I could and lost, forgot about it then when I turned 18 I started playing the EuroMillions when the JP's are big, then now I just do the same only play when they are big. Obviously 1M would do me fine to set up a business or something, but with the odds I can't play every time so I just stick to big ones.

I started in 1996 to play the lotto and go to the casinos here in oregon. Just megabucks and powerball then in 2010 I added mega millions. But now I only play mega millions and powerball every month and stopped going to the casino. I found that playing the lotto every month is a lot cheaper then going to the casino. I have more money to do things with if I just stick to the multi-state games and forget about my state lotto even though it is big right now for an oregon jackpot.-weshar75

Yep. My Grandpa. It was 2010, and my Grandpa loved talking numbers to me so much (still does), and I picked up the same hobby.

Started to play in my senior year (High School) oftenly, up until now.

Texas didn't have a lottery until 1992. Back around 1980, before Virginia had a lotttery, I knew a woman who played the Maryland Pick 3. She was the one who convinced me to buy my first tickets. Yes, her name was Eve, as in Eve-L.

On a regular basis? Was when it came here to NC before that had to be traveling thru a state that had it...but when I was 23 or so was the very first time I played...I got a scratch-off and won $40...I had to mail it in because I didnt scratch it off before I got back home....but they did send me the check in the mail
