The WA match 4 game is not a 4-digit game, it's 4/24, so 1-in-10,626 odds. Still 1,2,3,4 out of 24 balls is an interesting hit.

Sounds right, in states selling match 4 tickets for $1, matching all 4 numbers pays $5000.

I have a hunch that it was 1 player that bet on that and bought most all the tickets.. So i think either it was a custom software someone created to spit out numbers based on Match 4 history Database...

They did a news story about this in the UK if the normal lottery draw in the UK came out as 123456 then you wouldn't win that much because apparently loads of people play them numbers.

I don't know about pick3 and pick4 but in other games I've heard that a sequence of numbers starting with 1 are the most popular combinations played, 1 2 3 4 5 for five number games and 1 2 3 4 5 6 for six number games.

To my amazement i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the WA Match 4 game come up with these numbers 1-2-3-4 and i was like WTF... Look below and see why... I wonder if it was one person playing 31 tickets at $2 a ticket total =$62 bucks it's almost a fluke but wow... I have never seen that many winning tickets and the max i have seen is 5 winning tickets but not 31...
