As we've seen on the TLC programs about jackpot winners, people of all ages have 'blown it all', but I think if a person who is very young wins a jackpot they are much more prone to spend an awful lot of money on stuff that won't mean a thing to them as time passes.

Tghere was one young guy though, his wife wanted him to get out of the Navy, he won a jackpot and he did, and he was very wise. He said he's look at things like a Porsche convertible and think to himself, Holy cow, I could buy tha... [ More ]

I'd have to say late 20's as well...that when I started my mortgage and 1st new car payment...had got a good job with matching 401k actually was saving money and was used to making payments on time....yeah my late 20's is when I actually turned financially responsible enough to handle strong money

This guy came up with this question based on the fact that some people who do win the lottery when they are ill prepared to handle money end up bankrupt within a few years. It is not brain surgery to ask when do you think you would be ready. Saying give me the money is easy looking through the myopic view of some people who sometimes end up say if only l was mature in choosing well. Long after the money well has dried up.

Now you know the method to my madness...oops, question.

Which would suit you best..other than saying winning now

Which year do you feel you will/ would be more responsible with money?
