I guess I missed it I never saw where BA said he was an amazing predictor. It's okay to me that BA does not share how he arrives at his conclusions. I always thought vTracs was mumbo jumbo until BA made a post recently on it. It got me thinking about vTracs again, I'm still not convinced but I am thinking on it. I think that is the value in what BA and Win D post on LP is that they get me thinking about problems and maybe I can contribute in a way that they did not think about.

I noticed a box hit in California too. Those lines are generic, mathematically arranged and should produce a few hits somewhere. They should average about four box hits every day and a straight hit every 8 days. The better predictions are state specific and not one size fits all .

Of course, but it's directed more toward the few who say LP members suffer from innumeracy and are trying to convince us mathematicians say we can never win playing lottery games. BA was clear on their objective and that is to point players in the right direction and I believe BA is using sound math to do that.

I would suggest that any tests have at least 10 drawings (although even that is a small sample size, it is better than just 1 or 2 drawings). The more drawings in the sample test size, the more luck is eliminated.

By playing for the fun of it without wanting to profit, at least you will not be disappointed.

People play for different reasons and have different levels of expectation. For those who play and want to win more than they lose in the long run, it isn't going to happen unless you are the rare lucky one. And on the smaller games, if you continue to play after some wins, you will lose that if you play long enough. Random and those pesky statistics get in the way.

These predictions are not intended to play every combination in every state in every drawing so unless we played the winning number, profits or losses can't be determined. Predicting the digits 2 and 4 will be drawn in the first or second digit position in the next three drawings looks amazing until you do the math. That's 400 different combos and if we played them all, we would lose $300 even if they hit on the second drawing.

So true ... I think if more people actually tracked their wins vs. losses they would be surprised at how much they are losing.

I have actually tracked some of the predictions made here by other predictors and I have yet to find one that has won more than they have lost when you look at (a) a length of time for a reasonable sample size and (b) how many plays are actually required to cover the predictions made. You will never see any real monetary win statistics because they are nonexistent.

Stack, there's a very simple fix for this and it's what I do to track my own profits/losses. Each time a player predicts for a state, or states, list how many numbers, the way they're being ran (boxed, str8, both), and then the total cost to run 'em. Every time there's a loss or a win, simply log it in. After a few days or even a week, the total plays can be balanced to reveal a profit or a loss in the end.... [ More ]

A couple years ago I asked a predictor that averaged 50 predictions (straight and box) Good for every Pick-3 game in every state who they were trying to help. I was told if one person in one state played one of their numbers, they could win lots of money. It's win/win situation for any predictor and why all the other all games/all states predictors are disagreeing with you.

BA predicted either the 2 or 4 would hit in the first or second digit positions and that's 100 combos each or 400 combos. I applied the sums and root sums they predicted leaving 11 combos each for a total of $44 after filtering. 126 was drawn in the next drawing meaning had they bet $44, they collect $500 or a $456 profit.

I don't know where they got the four sums and three root sums from. Predicting a bunch of numbers without any explanation is not pointing people in the right direction . So... [ More ]

BA's objective is to point players in the right direction and by predicting at least one of two digits would be drawn in the first or second position in the next three days (six drawings) and they did accomplish that. However to get bragging rights, 400 straight combos is way too many and I'd suggest at the most 40 straight combos. By correctly matching one of those two digits, the odds are 9 to 1 for a $460 payoff when all the other digits are used in one of the the other positions.

Yes, the bottom line is how much you would spend and how much you would win.

At least that is my criteria for what I would call prediction success or failure. I have looked at many of BlackApple's posts/predictions and the aggregate totals for a reasonable sample size is you lose more than you win. I think one thing many people don't realize is the number of bets you would have to make to cover all the picks in one of these predictions with actual number sets, root sums, etc.

The minimum wager to guarantee a win, if the conditions are met is betting $20 to win $5, but only if it happens on the next drawing. See, now you're talking the right language. Sometimes, a win may not really be a win...only a win in the sense of matching the numbers. In terms of profit, though, it's very possible that all monies (losses) haven't been taken into account over a specific period and the win really nets a break even or recovery of a percentage of losses. Regarding verifiability:

Take Pick 3 for example. Anyone could say they liked numbers x-y-z (put in your own numbers) for a future drawing. Say it's for 1 state, 5 states, 10 states, or all states (the number of states doesn't matter). Add up what it would cost to play in those state(s) you specified and then see what numbers are drawn. I don't disagree LL. But every time I look at the OP I find nothing about good fortune or lotto at all. Perhaps his cheese slid off the cracker and he completely forgot this is LP for discussing all thing lotto

Yeah, I've thought about it from this perspective as well. Maybe the OP is a very good soothsayer predicting people's good fortunes outside of lotto numbers. I understand your confusion LL considering the Then prepare for more statement. But perhaps Blackapple is an amazing poster apart from being a great lottery player? I happened to be both even though I cant prove it by the prediction boards. I have been waiting a long time for a QP player to step forward and challenge me but none of them seem to have the resources or the courage to put their convictions to the test.

No matter how Great your at Predicting ! All system/methods and theories have HOT and COLD Spells. To be a Great Predictor you must keep you sets/lines down to 10 or less daily . The system/method must show you when to play or not and give you a duration of game play for PREDICTIONS .
