When you play str/box for $1.00, its also called a 50/50 bet. In other words .50c straight - .50c box. The only way you win a

straight bet is if your # comes in straight exactly the way you played it. You played 8357, it hit as 5378. You didn't win. If

you play $1.00 straight then you get $6,000 if your number comes in. But you did hit box so it wasn't a total loss.

I played 8357 today Straight/Box and it came 5378. I went to check my ticket thinking I had won $3,125 only to find out it was only )125 or $150 I was so mad I forgot. The clerk explained if it had came straight I would have gotten more. I thought when you play $1.00 Str/Box you get 3,125 and straight pays 6,000. Can somebody explain this to me
