I'm pretty sure you're mistaken.

Do a Google search for ca lottery superlotto plus cash value july 17 2013 and look at the content of the results.

All the top results with cached info show:

I am pretty sure it was 19.9 millions because I copied and pasted the number to my Excel before the drawing was closed.

Im just guessing that since the annuity is paid over time it would equal to that difference in the cash value taking up front....but like I said Im just guessing

The California Super Lotto Plus jackpot increased from 33 millions to 34 millions but the lump sum option only increased from 19.9 millions to 20 millions. How come the lump sum option only increased by 100 thousands while the corresponding annuity option increased by 1 million
