For the same reason, without a limit on the number of fixed jackpots could be paid on one drawing, the Texas Lottery shut down the All or Nothing game. The PB and MM jackpots are not fixed and determined by sales so it doesn't matter how the 175 million different chances of winning are distributed. Combined with self picks it's possible a tiny percentage of all the combinations are on several tickets.

The reason there hasn't been a drawing with several winning tickets is the same reason the j... [ More ]

Its random alright, if there was a set pattern to winning these games-the lotteries would not be able to function on a profit basis.Imagine if you will if everyone entering a Casino kept hitting the million dollar jackpots, security would be combing the floor, they would shut down those machines and deem them malfunctioning, why?- because they would say its not normal to be hitting the winner as frequently as they are.

The house always wins'- that's the bottom line.

One thing is certain, somebody is always going to win a jackpot, it's just a matter of who and when. There is no conspiracy by the lotteries either the multi state or the state specific lotteries.

I believe both games are as random and random can be. They use numbered balls and blow them all over the place with hurricane force wind. How much more random could they possibly produce?

Now the computer generated lotto numbers are a color of a different horse. Don't get me started.

Even if you thought that you wouldn't have the data to prove it so why even worry about it? I doubt if any combination is played more than ten or fifteen times during any particular drawing or we would see larger groups of second place winners occasionally.

The only time there was a larger group of second place winners was when PB has over two hundred players who got their numbers from fortune cookie produced by a company putting the same message in all of their cookies.
