Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about this, by far. I've been working on getting all states Play 3 and 4 data on my site. Nearly ready to update the site with this, just needs a little more work. I won't have back data but at least I can start pulling data so all states can start using the systems that need the data on my site. When that's all said and done, I can code this system for Pick 3 and Pick 4.

Pattern #1: Medium frequency, hits most of the time

Pattern #2: Hi frequency, hits more than half the time

Pattern #3: Low frequency, hits a lot. This one also seems to have an added benefit of narrowing down the order.

heh, the problem is, I don't want to be responsible for someone losing money. I mean, I know this system works. It requires no guess work and repeatably hits. Having said that, without being able to nail the straits more, this system may or may not make money. I took a quick look at the Pick 4 PA info. Results look pretty good. Yeah. Correctly predicting a box hit on a four number system isn't bad per say. I just want that straight. It's nice to see this pattern system works in Pick 4 as well though. With a little more testing, I can starting playing the numbers and make some cash.

Tested a little with Play 4. Looks rather promissing. Same issue as Pick 3 though, not sure about the straight, so lots of boxed hits. I've only tested a few months but I think I found a way to get it down to under 10 numbers. For example, here's FL last pattern match that hasn't hit:

1758 1750 1756 1752 1798 1790 1796 1792

I wasn't sure this would work with only one draw a day. But, I ran the numbers. Since Aug. 1st, there were 6 pattern matches. 4 hit. 1 only has a few draws left (295, 296, 298, 595, 596, 598, 995, 996, 998); so it may miss. The last one (131, 135, 138, 531, 535, 538, 831, 835, 838) is good for 10-15 draws. I wouldn't suggest actually playing them because I'm still firmly in the testing phase.

Ok, kreative1. Since Aug 1st, there were 9 pattern matches. 7 hit. 1 missed. 1 is still in play (042, 062, 082, 142, 162, 182, 542, 562, 582). Those numbers are good for about the next 10 draws or so. Don't actually play them since we're just testing. They'll probably hit boxed since I'm not sure about the straights yet. The point of the test was to see if this even worked for PA and it doesn't look bad. 40 days isn't the best a huge test but it's not a bad start.

No takers on testing more states is a bit disappointing. In any case, I coded this up so others could try it out. A fellow LP member pointed me to a place where I can get the numbers for all states. As time allows, I'll look into using that to get all states on my site. For now, it seems the system works pretty well for every state I have enough data for. Much to my surprise, only 10 days. I've found that if I go back more than 15 days the hits go way down. I've been concentration on data so much, it never occurred to me to look at patterns. Now I'm trying to make sure I don't let any of my preconceptions get in the way. I can't believe there's a repeatable pattern that actually gets hits. Don't get me wrong, everything has a flaw. Continuing to work on the pattern and what not. Figured I'd share this... The following three set groups are the current active sets that have not yet hit in FL. So far there have been 10 total pattern matches in August. 1 of those missed completly (didn't hit boxed or straight). 3 would've hit boxed and 3 would've hit straight, using the current configuration I'm using.

In Tennessee i tested this and after a pair hits back to back it takes anywhere from 11 to 21 draws to repeat........14 draws was the most dominent......

now in tennessee i track the 2 digit return......and this helps me with my third digit..........still alot of numbers to play......but i then use my triads to narrow

down a little bit more.........this is another tool. thanks for sharing.

I really need to code this one. The workout isn't horrible but trying to do a date range for back testing is tedious. I tested 7/1/13 to 7/10/13 and the pattern occurred 15 times. Out of the 15 occurrences, this would have hit 13 times. Since the numbers jump all over the place as far as position goes, I could just play the same order ever time and turn the box hits into straights. The straight/box play type in Florida would be perfect.

I found yet another pattern, hit's the best thus far, and hits come quicker too. Cost is still low enough to actually play this one based on the hits it gets. So, I ran the numbers to start playing and came up with: 050, 080, 250, 280, 520, 550, 580. 5-8-0 hit midday today. :( What are the odds? Guess I'll play the variant and hope it comes up as well... 330, 390, 500, 530, 590, 900, 930, 990

I'm attempting to find patterns that might show when to use the set before the pattern or after the pattern for Position C. I'd rather not play both since that brings the playable set count up. If you just use one, that's so few numbers, one can stand to play the numbers a bit longer to get the hit and still come out ahead. It would be even better if there was a way to tell which position the numbers might fall. Getting the straight more often would really put this in the profitable column.... [ More ]

Sure. I probably made the mistake of looking at these patterns so much, I didn't do a great job of explaining it. Let me try again. The key with this is the pattern rules. However, first I should probably go into how I'm viewing the data. I'm looking at DAY and EVE draws together, sorted by date. So Day 1 is two records. The first one is the Day Draw, the second is the EVE draw. Here's the first ten days of April 2012:

I like your logic on this.I have been silently backtesting similar phenomenon...particulary when positions stack with the same digit for multiple draws and what occurs afterwards.

The answers are always in front us and I think most of us are looking too hard.Easy wins can come from the things you are pointing out

Let Assumed my discrete points for the digit 1 is 8679, then my picks are reduced. Using the above text data , check the corresponding positions of digit 1,, from draw 2 1 3, your points 8 and 6 is verified at pos 2, check draw 1 2 8 , the points 7 and 8 is verified at position(s) one.

Hi Manual, Have you tried the concept of Recurrence with your data? saw the plotted graphs with regard to the above link, very interesting, but a normal distrubution curve gives you a range instead of discrete values. The points on the curves are unique, I think the concept of recurrence will shrink the range to points. This will also reduce your picks without the need of parameters like sums, roots etc. ,. This is just a thought.

ALX, thank you for the suggestion. I went back tested this and it seems to only work a small portion of the time. :( The search continues.

lottoburg, I have no idea if it works for Pick 4. I don't have any Pick 4 data in my database so I can't test is easily. I haven't even tested it for states other than Florida (which I should probably do). I wanted to try and narrow down the playable sets a bit more before I get crazy with it.

There are so many ways to find a key number or three for the missing #but in the case you show it looks like you just need to go back to the last #s that the 2 played with...in this case 862 and there's the 6...only two #s to use

Looking for help with reducing the final sets just a little more. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. First, let me start at the beginning. Look at the following draws for FL.
