I always wondered what the weight tolerances are for each ball?

For example, do they use more ink on balls 1-9 VS. balls 10-59 etc.

If not, seems to me the double digit balls would be ever so slightly heavier as they bounced around the machine.

Are you referring to the PA Lottery Scandal which is quite well known in lottery circles. Or is this a different incident in another state?

Rigging the ping pong balls would be an easier and different method than the rubber balls machines used in MM and PB.

Some time back there was a state lottery scam where it was done in full view. What they did was the balls are only suppose to be 1/10 off of weight from each other. Weighed before being placed in the machine. And replaced after so many days. In this case a couple people were involved and weighted balls with white paint. I cant see cheating as being impossible. Somebody started a thread that might be dead about the 0000 being drawn in new york 5 times at the beginning of the game. I could believe if 0000 was drawn, then 1111 then 1122 then 3333 1123 but not 0000 over and over again.

Thats virtually impossible. It couldn't happen, it shouldn't happen. Somebody got away with something there. I mean I was only in grade school. So I didn't have any wagers down.

I was thinking about it because they wanted to look inside the terminal and Frank the Pug had a Noo Yawk accent.

They still make mechanical clocks in cases showing all the gears and springs and the good news is if they stop working, the clock will still have the correct time twice a day.

Actually all it took on the last big rig was a little white paint and a couple people knowing which balls they were placed on. plus a bonus would be access to the ticket machine where you could actually punch in the numbers and it still would come out as a fixed quick pick ticket.

I believe anything can be rigged, There's tiny micro chips to be placed in the balls or nano technology used in future paint that may tell the computer what the ball number is. But, what can you do, except keep playing and hoping that you have the winning number.

Quick picks are irrelevant, for those that are conspiracy theorists, so I don't understand why it's in the title.

Let's say you believe they were rigging the draw, with a person on the inside, say their name is Sue, and a person on the outside, say their name is Gloria. Gloria buys a quick pick at any store of her choosing, gets on camera, even cuts in line if she wants. Then contacts Sue and tells her which numbers are on her ticket, so those can be selected on the draw.

I don't know how it could be done on quick pic draws. But then again I am not clear how the same quick pic numbers are showing up in the same area which happen to be NJ, and happen to be one of the relatives who helped create the game. Pat Summitt was a NCAA Hall of Fame women's basketball coach at the University of Tennessee, the TN Lottery switched from live ball drawings to an RNG, the RNG was programmed to show no repeat digits in their pick-3 and pick-4 games, it took a month to figure out they had a problem, and many players believe cheating was involved.

Powerball is a privately owned company that was bought several years ago by a New Jersey group. They changed the machines to the ones seen today. Why didn t they make the bottom part of the machine out of plexiglass so that we can see what s going on inside the machine
