The reason is because most people play QPs. QPs don't have any more of a chance than self picks unless the person has a really good system that was tested to work relatively well on a regular basis.

If the jackpot was won and the winning ticket was a QP, Thrifty's 10 QP chances of winning are compared to that total. Even if 100% of all the 20 million tickets sold in the last drawing were QPs, there was only a 11.4% chance of a jackpot winning ticket. When the jackpots get to the must win level, I'm assuming if the self-pick players buy extra tickets, they will probably buy QPs. Not difficult to figure out the 10 QPs the lottery terminal gave Thirfty had 10 had chances to win something and he won nothing. Not any of 10 QPs of the over 20 million tickets sold from any terminal in the country gave any player the jackpot winning numbers. That's why it's called gambling. Oh and when someday you do decide to play again, have you considered picking your own numbers because I think when the lottery picks your numbers, they are not doing it in your best interest.

I don't have the budget to spend $20 a day on lotto. Some people do have that though but not me. I only spend over my regular amount when the jackpot is above $300 million but I would not spend $20 for a $92 million jackpot.-weshar75
