CA-Evening current skip chart picture. It shows your digit 8 being 50 draws out. It also shows for the last 10 draws the prudent play would have been to play combos that contained the 3rd longest out digit (rank 8). Doubt this would have been the case for the long haul but for the short haul it would have worked 7 out of 10 draws.

I'm specifically talking about the first position. August 26-938, the 8 is in the third position, doesn't count.

If you look at the draws sequentially as they are published by calottery, there is no anomaly, 8 is not missing from the 1st or any position, not related to AZ issue at all. Here's just the past week:

And it doesn't matter whether the test draws pay or not. If the 8's were in the test draws, then that would make my thread moot.

In that case it makes it even worse. if you add the mid and eve together as one, that would be 41 draws X two, equalling 82 draws with the 8 in the first position showing only 5 times.

they can arrive 0 out of 1,000 draws and then 200 of the next 1,000 draws and still fulfill 10% on average.

That's technically true yet extremely rare for that to happen, like probably never in my lifetime but how come the officials didn't use that defense in the Arizona lottery

I dont think you need the test drawings to do a complete analysis.

However if there was a glitch as was alleged, then the test draws would/should have the same anamoly and that would be/should be proof that there most likely could have/was a glitch. However as Cash4Jedi said, Pre-draws/post-draws dont pay, so what the point of tracking them anyway? IMHO at least.

True, but the post was about numbers not showing up in the official drawings and if they are showing up in the test drawings, then that's proof that they are in the mix and could show up any time.

In a random draw, any number can come in at any time. Conversely, any number can NOT come in. As someone pointed out, numbers in the 8xx range can be expected to be drawn about 10% of the time, but, statistically, they can arrive 0 out of 1,000 draws and then 200 of the next 1,000 draws and still fulfill 10% on average.

Here are some other long outs:

Arkansas Midday - Position 1, Digit 7, 68 games out. (No Sunday Midday draw)

Arkansas Evening - Position 3, Digit 6, 68 games out.

Nebraska had a digit that was on a 77 games out dry spell and it hit that same night after I mentioned it.

Then what about the eve? Not once in the first position in 49 days.

When the Arizona story came out, I looked at the recent history, maybe two months and didn't notice anything unusual, but that got attention. Hmmm

No. You're making the false assumption that the Daily 3 Mid and Eve draws are separate games with separate sets of draw machines.

If you look at the Mid/Eve results combined as sequential events of the same game and machines as calottery does,(and numbers the draws exactly like that) then your anomaly disappears.

CA did have a problem with their draw machines several years ago but that was a different issue.

The LP news had an article a few days ago pertaining to Arizona's glitch in the P-3 game. I may have to email the officials in California to complain about a similar problem.

In the past 41 days, the number 8 has only shown four times in position 1 in the midday draw.

If that's not bad enough, the evening draw is worse. The last time a number 8 has been drawn in the first position in the evening draw was 49 days ago.

Does anyone else think this is odd
