Lots of games for State Lotteries are computerized (RNG's). Here in AZ, all the state lotto games are Computer Generated except for the Mega Millions and the Powerball. I play the AZ PICK 3 and AZ FANTASY 5 and I win, .

That would be something worth finding out. I looked into some of the inner workings of our lottery over the weekend- they call it the Integrity of the lottery or something to that effect.

But the guy parading around the various pieces of equipment pointed to this electronic device that's no smaller than a CD changer and says This is our computerized generator - but don't worry folks, in order for screw with this device, it has what looks like a snap tie at the back to prevent someone getting... I emailed PowerBall a few years ago and asked about their random number software used for generating quick picks. The guy said that the states generate the quick picks, not PowerBall HQ, and there are 5 or 6 different software vendors that supply the various states. I imagine the situation is similar for the state computerized games.

I concur with the poster who suggested you email the lotteries. I received quick responses when I asked questions of PowerBall and also the Maryland lottery.

I'm sure the lotteries would tell you what software they use if you ask them. Maybe try an e-mail writing campaign?
