Ironically, when I bought my tickets, the woman behind the counter offered me a $3 ticket that someone refused on Sunday. She couldn't believe someone hadn't bought it yet. So I ended up buying it - just in case

Perhaps the few seconds it took you to recover prevented you from being in the wrong place at the wrong time...an accident, etc.

I just went to a store and bought my Powerball tickets for tonight. I stood in front of the scratch-offs, considering, then decided against it, as the two I originally wanted were not there.

As I got into my car, I banged my head HARD against the car, practically giving myself a concussion. I've had this car for 11 years and haven't done that before.

All I could think was it was a sign from God saying either: I was a dumba$$ for spending money on Powerball tickets when we are on a thin mar... [ More ]
