Addition and subtraction have equal precedence, as do multiplication and division. Once the operational precedence is established, the operations are performed from left to right. For the equation you used (maybe you inadvertently changed it from the original?) that means the step after multiplication is subtraction. In this case that gives us 10 - 100 = -90. The addition of 10 is the final step, making the correct answer -80.

I don't know how it pertains to lottery. All I know that the answer is 100.

First thing we have to use is PEMDAS.

We have here 10-10x10+10.

Now we follow the rules of PEMDAS. There's no parenthesis or exponents. Next up is multiplication.

So, 10x10= 100

No division, so addition is next: 100 + 10 = 110

Finally, we have a subtraction sign: 110 - 10 = 100 our final answer.

True, but folks doing it in their head might think of it as ((10 + 10) x 10) - 10 instead of how it's written which is partly the reason there's so much confusion when lottery players talk math.
