No, jk. Three big reasons are being able to never have to worry about money again, being able to make sure loved ones never have to worry about money again and also being able to give to good causes more than I'd ever be able to otherwise.

I found my old living place, where there the estates prices are much higher than that before, so that I want to win a lotto prize to help my grown up children to buy them every one with a new comfortable house, othwise they will be facing hard lives in the future.

I am back in college at 36 due to the market changing with the medical transcription field. Should I win the lottery I would still finish school, perhaps even go on for a doctorates for a personal goal. No, I would not donate my post graduate services or time no matter how selfish that seems. i would work for a paycheck and put that money towards a charity of my choice. @RJOh, I know that we all want to win. I'm curious as to what everyone would do with the money.

I see a lot of people saying that never want to work again. I'm the opposite, I enjoy my job but I probably would quit. My Coworkers probably wouldn't appreciate being around a millionaire everyday.

I play for basically the same reasons as well. Mine are very modest. Payoff my house and start some renovations, payoff my 4runner, and buy about 150 acres to farm and have my own gun range for me and my son. These items may seem like a lot and/or minor to some buy those are the only things i have plans to do. I make good money buy i just want that little bump to finish things off and be able to sleep completely at ease every night.

I agree, my reasons are same as the above replies. One other thing is I can budget my money better - less money for more gain and though the odds are much higher, it's more convenient for me. I love the casino as well, but only go few and far between nowadays. Casinos take too much money in too short a time, and you don't really win much. I used to go with my girlfriends to Biloxi, for instance, for a 4th of July weekend and it wouldn't be nothing to sink $300 mininum each for the weekend playin... [ More ]
