In casinos I play Hold'em

The World Series of Poker rakes 6% off the top of the entry fees and every casino where I played poker has a table rake. Tournament poker isn't all that much different than any lottery game without fixed jackpots. The only real difference is in tournament poker, the 10% that cash usually get back more than their entry fee.

The problem that I see is that some of the members that's been here since dial up service, feel as if they are responsible for regulating the site. I am not so much obsessed as I am wistfully curious.

Todd has provided a state of the art prediction tool, not seen anywhere else on the internet (at least to my knowledge)

It attracts lottery players from all over the globe and tracks expenses quite well. (Something all players should and need to do)

I don't see any general harassment of P3/P4 players by JP players. It's clear that P3/P4 make up the majority of posts on LP. I play all lottery games and am not a snob towards any type of player.

Maybe people need to focus on posting in the right forum, as the rules state, probably the Pick 3 or Systems forum would be more appropriate for pick 3 system/strategies rather than General discussion.

I was writing in response to a member that kept coming back under different usernames. People do that. Creating multiple usernames is against the forum rules, and is frowned upon in forums generally.

Writing style, agenda, misspelling of certain words, propensity for certain typos, these are things that can identify people who are otherwise trying to conceal their identities. That was the observation I was making.

It really shouldn't matter because they aren't given credibility as knowledgeable lottery players.

You and I know that most lotteries keep a 50% house edge on pick-3 wagers and limit the total amount that can be wagered on one combination making it impossible to beat the house . Actually, there's a simple answer to this. Knowing a good play from a bad play. You only play when it looks to be in your favor. By playing in a certain consistent manner you can keep your losses to a minimum. This is what I do and it works.

You can't tell me that there isn't a bet or bets, in Vegas that'll give you a high chance of winning.

Sure, there are a few, but peole betting them have run right into buzz saws, too. Like the lotteries, the house is always a step or two ahead of the players.

The only bet in a casino that pays true odds is taking or laying odds on Pass Line, Come, or Don't Pass, and Don't come bets. But you have to have a flat bet in order to take or lay odds, and that's where the house has... [ More ]

Taking a wild guess I'll say your concept of 'betting with the house' is betting the Don't on crap tables or betting Bank in mini-baccarat or 'Big Bac.'

Both are total misconceptions among tourists because the house is booking that action also. When the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on the come out, or makes their point, the Don't loses.

Same for Baccarat, when Player wins, bank loses.

It all about rewards against risk. Lotteries attract players by offering a chance to win millions of dollars by risking one or two dollars. Casino offer better odds but the rewards aren't as big. If the chances of winning was the same for both sides then it wouldn't be gambling.

You can put yourself in a position for luck to happen but that does not guarantee it will happen. For example, buying 1 lottery ticket grants you the opportunity for randomness to use luck to select your numbers. Without that 1 ticket, there is 100% chance you won't win.

You can be a visionary and still be grounded in scientific approach. Thinking outside of the box is not limited by this.

The casino industry considers only two types of players can be consistent winners and they are poker players and some sports bettors.

And not only how do you do it, but what is the most effective means to bring upon some SMART LUCK and some EXPECTED randomness.
