You never get your return on investment with scratchoffs

I remember one day I walked into the store and put down 100 bucks and won 650.00 which was the exception because most of the time you get nothing but losers

This give you a false sense of security as you think that there are more winners out there when in reality the day you won you just had a very lucky day

I don't even mess with the scratchoffs any more as they just let you down

Just so you guys know... this is what I heard from actual gas station owner so take it with you.

All lottery merchants (especially the retailers), will get commissions for selling lottery tickets and there is a pertangage for each of them (depending on geography location, population and human traffic). Actually, the last couple years the value of a pack is usually less than half the cost of the roll. It used to be half, but the odds have gotten worse. I rarely play scratchers although I did buy a $5 Red Diamond 7 today. Loser.

Funny because scratchers are huge sellers in Texas. I just don't get into them like the online games. I guess I'm not into the instant gratification. I like to dream about hitting big on the draw games coming up. LOL.

Hm. Is it better to buy a whole pack, or just a few off a lot of different packs? there is a guaranteed prize amount in each pack, usually about half the face value, with a chance of course of winning the jackpot or higher tier prizes.

Yep buy in large quantities at various locations, in different cities around your state, or the state you are trying to win in...you may break even, you may get a top prize, or you may lose your shirt...it's a crap shoot LOL

I checked with the tire king and matrress king, they think it's just a marketing gimmick by a guy who's not really an offical american royal. Here is what you would have got if you went for the offer.

What it amounts to is sticking to a budget. Picking a ticket the state website says has plenty of prizes left. Jumping on a new game release. Investing a good win into buying a roll.
