It's a small sample set, but they are correct, you do win more money...

Before the change I used to loose 90% of what I played...Now I only loose 85

I like the changes only if I win, because I'll likely be the sole winner.

If I don't win, changes are horrible.

Again, on a odds per dollar, MM has better odds than PB.

For the price of one PB ticket you can buy 2 MM tickets which will bring the odds down to 1:129million better than the 1:175 million for PB

I think I know who are liking the changes to MM. The lottery commissions. 3 jackpot win a year is what will be the new norm.

I don't really care for the changes to Mega Millions. They already have astronomical odds of winning and to decrease the odds seems like a money grab. They know the higher the jackpot is the more people will spend on lottery tickets. It's like moving the goal posts 15 yards back on a team trying to score a field goal to win a game. (Not the best analogy but a lot of truth to it.) My opinion is that it will break the record and reach the 1 Billion dollar mark and everyone will get in a frenzy buy... [ More ]
