Yeah even at a $1 Billion Jackpot i can imagine people will go nuts and spend their entire paycheck soley on tickets... Even seniors will be throwing in SS retirement money to get tickets.. Talk about one crazy day if no one wins tonight and Friday $800+ million drawing..

I think this current jackpot will be won before it reaches $2 billion (could be wrong!). If it reaches $1 billion, people will go bonkers with ticket purchases. At some point soon I assume a 100% combination coverage will occur, so it'll just be a matter of how many people are going to split the jackpot.

Nah there would be murder in the streets. i dont think they can put a cap on it either, it rolls when people buy tickets, so you'd have to stop selling tickets.

I'm not so sure. With 70% of the combinations likely to be sold for tonights draw, if it were to roll over again I would guess 100% of the combinations would be sold the next draw.

1. I'd go for the annuity option. Actually at $800m I'd go for it.
