well, I've seen a few Patsy's around here and I think I know why they don't have to play. It's either to throw ticket playing

customers off to the fact they do scratch their own tickets behind the counter OR everyone in the community is an instant

friend and they always put a smile and sugar on for new marks. If they make as many friends as they can, SOMEONE certainly

When I was on line, I did overhear this one guy say, Boy this line better get a move on, or I am gonna burst!

I am not really sure what kind of bursting he was referring to.

Just Kidding.

No lines around me. I played early, I wanted to avoid complications due to ice and weather. If only I had given myself more time, I would have picked those easy numbers.

Humbug to him...isn't it always a pleasure to see someone lose their temper? If they'd just hold their tongue for a few seconds

longer they wouldn't make azzes of themselves. I get irritated too sometimes but some people make it a hobby. Nasty is too

common in the world...throw in the stress of having to learn something new and don't get it? well, easiest thing is to blame

someone else. Pity some people are such grumps.

Stopped at one store in town and two while driving. The only one that had a line was a truck stop that's typically full anyways. Couldn't really see what people were buying (it's my restroom break place), but at either of the other two places I stopped, nobody was buying tickets.

I imagine all three places would be busy about now, though.

I decided to buy two more tickets after my last post - lines at both! It's like once everyone got out of work, they all went to every single gas station around! So 5 people in front of me at both places.

At each place, there was only one clerk and they looked like they really needed a beer.

At the grocery store, there was no one at the lottery counter. Stopped by the gas station for milk and there were only two people in line. The conversation was where is everyone? Did they already buy their tickets

Bought mine at the gas station, several people ahead of me and everyone was getting tickets. Few more came in after, definitely more people than I normally see on the way home.

There was a middle aged guy who had a temper tantrum. He could not understand the new play slips - old MM and current PB/CA Superlotto have a white block next to a red block, new MM has white above red. I went to regular place and there was about 14 cars in the lot, I thought ohno I'll have to wait in line (hav'nt done that in 10 years)

No lines at the store I go to.It's snowin like hell and its only a corner store.It was so dead in the store he asked me to watch the door so he could do his 3 minute prayer lol.

Anyhow,I bought 5 lines on separate ticks with the megaplier.

I'm in the sticks, too, so usually no lines. Weren't really lines today but the first place we tried to play had this lovely scenario going on......two guys went up to the counter, put a bunch of ones and fives on it, and then asked the clerk, Which is the big lotto game, how much is it to play, and how many numbers do you have to pick .

I went to two liquor stores in Los Angeles about an hour ago. No one buying lottery tickets at either store. The second store usually does brisk lottery business too. Maybe there will be a mad rush closer to the deadline.

I had one ticket and while I was out bought two more with megaplier. While I was picking my numbers, two men came in to buy Mega tickets, one guy asked the clerk where she wanted to go when he won lol.

I asked another the clerk how the sales were going and she laughed and said Mega Millions tickets is all she is selling in the store today!

Central Florida....lots more people in line than usual at the various Publix Supermarkets I buy my tickets at. LOTS of obvious first timers in line not sure what they were buying, lol.... Seasoned players like us talking about how to claim, how to remain as anonymous as possible....wishing each other good luck...people buying for Christmas cards, stockings and office pools......

Nothing exciting here. It's a small town. Only 3 people in front of me. They all played under $10, QPs. I picked my own numbers this time, $3 worth (a splurge).
