Happy holidays Josh. Here in New York the lottery usually shuts down on Xmas. But from what I understand, and see from my bets, they will holding drawings tonight on all games. I'm unsure if their running midday bets on numbers and win4 though. I imagine they are it would only make sense.

Louisiana does not have drawings on Christmas for the state's games, i.e. Pick 3, Pick 4, Easy 5, and Lotto. However, Powerball will draw on Christmas since it's a multistate game.

Virginia has a New Year's Raffle with 3 One Million Dollar Prizes at odds of 1 in 110,000.

A total of 330,000 tickets to be sold.

20 bucks each.

Where I live we have the 50/50 Raffle. Players keep buying tickets and on the draw date one person walks away with half of the jackpot. It is not my kind of raffle.

Yep and it pissed off alot of people including me.. So WA lotto officals will never do a raffle drawing ever again and i wish they go back to ball system drawings instead of computer picking..

Most of the States have New Years draws, no Christmas. Have tics for Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Virginia.

I am so glad WA state didn't put on a holiday raffle this year because of last years debacle.. The lotto officals got huge backlash on the major screw up on the raffle drawings.

Use to be most states would skip having a drawing on Christmas day but now most drawings that normally happens on Wednesday will take place regardless.

So, does anyone know which lotterys are offering special Christmas draws? Like raffles or large jackpots!

UK Lotto is offering 500 winners of 20,000 in the raffle

I don't think Euro Millions is offering much but it's at 60M!

Might treat myself to a Euro ticket and a UK Lotto ticket tomorrow since I haven't been buying any for a while now.
