Most lottery strategy books explain better ways to play your numbers . And though some do offer suggestions for picking numbers, they don't come up with one line with 5 or 6 numbers to play. The Illinois lotto game is drawn three times a week......producing 11 jackpots for those years indicates it's definitley taking a back seat to the 5 + 1 games. In other words not getting as much play.

For those two years I referred to I think we just had MM and not PB yet.

The jackpots don't get as high as they used to be.......currently it's $9.5M and increases $250,000 when it rolls.

The luck factor was matching all three of his numbers, but by playing them with all the other numbers, his odds of winning the jackpot were reduced to one in 33. I like the term smart luck because that is basically what self pick players are doing.

I really don't know how he determined which three numbers to use, but the betting strategy was to play his three numbers on all 17 lines with one each of the other 34 numbers (5/37 game). The win guarantee when matching his three numbers was either a jackpot win plus 16 three number matches or two four number matches with 15 three number matches. Your all the numbers on 20 tickets wheel is a balanced wheel. I've never been interested in any of the front loaded wheels. While I doubt that I would ever play $20 a draw on any game every draw, it is interesting to see how playing the same numbers on this wheel over the years have done. Most wheels start out as a place holder pointer number matrix. Often the first line is 1-2-3-4-5-6. You have to load the wheel with your best picks and if your first six best picks replace 1-2-3-4-5-6 and they are drawn you have a jackpot. I agree. I was using the 20 line wheel to point out that even playing all the numbers in that many lines may give a person more chances to win, but it's still a long shot. Before Texas got MM and PB, I played all the numbers in the minimum number of lines regularly. These days I play all the jackpot games so I have to cut back on the amount I play on each one.

I printed a wheel from BobP's Lotto Logix several years ago. It's a wheel that you play all the numbers in the game on 20 lines. Lotto Texas has 54 numbers and I have this wheel in a notebook. It was a really simple system; he picked three numbers, paired the remaining 34 numbers and played the 17 lines. One of the lines matched a pair and he won $100,000 plus $160 for the 16 three number matches. The answer to your first question is that it depends on whether you choose to play all the combinations or not. If you choose all the combinations for a particular month, the minimum that you should get is three but it may be more sometimes. I am at the moment working on getting the other four. But it does not matter how you choose the other four because if you have certain numbers that you feel will bring you luck, just use those four numbers and keep those four numbers the same through

Like I use for the Pivot System where you play the pair off against all the other numbers randomized across the minimal number of lines.

A co-worker keyed on three numbers using that method in a 5/37 game and hit a $100,000 jackpot plus 16 three number matches. Many of the early how to wheel books included the pairs with pairs strategy.

The raw wheel consists of place holder / pointer numbers. The sub wheels are too compact to catch more then two winning numbers in most draws. Most draws have more of a spread between the lowest and highest drawn. If you have CoverMaster, you'd want to drop the wheel in and hit Ramdomize a couple of times, the (39,5,2,5)=23 underlying matrix won't change, but you'll have a better spread to test.

Wow, I didn't expect this, my 30 matched his chart numbers 13-07-05 then the 7 matching number 28. And 13 matched 22. So had I played it out I would have had 7-13-22-28-30. It may never do it again, but it did tonight.

I have read and own the Lottery Master Guide. I skimmed a couple other books that are in the Lottery Post/Amazon library.

I have a copy of the Lotto Black Book. I also have the LottoMillions book and some of Robert Perkis writings as well. I have not got around to buying Todds book, when I get a big win, and have some more shelf space I may.

Your must also post your prediction well in advance like I have done in my book for all to see. You would need to write down your predictions for each month, every month of every year for atleast 5 years in advance and it has to be correct for 6/49 lottery systems and various other Lottery systems like mine prediction which seems to predict two numbers in fantasy 5 and can also predict two numbers in Powerball and various other Lotteries around the World on a month by month basis until the end o... I don't know who you are talking about but I never suggested you try and predict the winning PB numbers, I thought you were talking about 6/49 games and suggested you post some predictions for evaluation. I did read your posts and I'll say it again, I've read or hear it all before.
