The winning ticket was sold at a Shell station. I have never stepped foot in that station so my swim up the Cumberland river is a no-go.

As no one has stepped forward yet, the rumors are flying. The latest one is that three drunk college boys stumbled into the station and bought the ticket. They probably don't remember buying the ticket (but remembered the beer they bought).

I think TN has had one PB win and one MM win now so I should probably just quit playing for the next 25 years or so.

Maybe I'll move up to NYC and hang around with the THRIFTMEISTER and discuss playing the lottery someday and how it's ok to dream.

I went to a certain gas station for the longest time and got my tickets there, then one day found out they had sold a $36 million state draw game winner.

Another I bought from frequently had a $1,000,000 winning ticket on MM/PB.

Both had happened a while before I found out, though. Would be weird to know if you had just stopped at a different store within a few miles and at a certain time, you'd be the winner.

It is humbling. What is more humbling or perhaps even devastating is the situation with Mindy who allowed Gloria to cut in line and buy the PB that won the biggest jp in history. She was indifferent or at least acted that way but you have to wonder if she has those annoying what if questions sneaking into her head.

I was kinda hoping they were gonna say later , that the guy who won it , lived in the mountains in Tenn. and picked the winning numbers by shooting squirrels from walnut trees out of his office window , and recording the hits

Oh well , maybe one day , as he has as good a shot ( no pun intended ) as any ...... to win it

Our local radio station is reporting the winner of the latest MegaMillions is from Nashville. The ticket was sold in the Bellevue section. Bellevue is west of downtown. I live about two miles from Bellevue. So I missed being a millionaire by two miles.

What is it they say? Miss by a inch is the same as missing by two miles? Something like that. Anyway, I figure this is as close to winning as I will ever get.
