Yes, Thank you, that was my point actually, the question was how did you have investment in Jan 2013 and other months over 1,000$? So I asuumed the tickets more expencive in PA? Or/?

Also I want to say that i agree with you on the idea treat lottery as a business, I always felt this way too, I just started learning about all this, but I think in the near future when I am confident enough I will going to make a fortune with the lottery..

It is only $450.00 if you have not hit by the 30th draw. If you hit any time before that the expense is less and the winnings are greater.

For example if I hit the number after only 5 draws I would have spent $45.00 and I would have won $500.00 for a total profit of $455.00.

If I hit the number after only 19 draws I would have spent $171.00 and I would have won $500.00 for a total profit of $329.00.

Thank you ranman17 for respond and adobea78, so yes, then the other question comes, total cost$ 450 a month, then how that you got expences in Jan for exp. 1, 380.00 $, I mean 23 draws until you hit..? May be you paid more for the tickets back then? So sorry that I am not following this..

That is correct but I explained the way I did because of the way the question was asked. Also, not all states have the combo option. I spent a week in PA one year and I went to the store to play a P3 number and asked for it combo but when I went to redem my ticket (I won) I only received boxed money. When I asked why the clerk informed that they do not have combo plays and the clerk from the day before did not have a full command of the english language and therefore did not communicate such.

799 means 799-997-979, so instead of marking the 3 sets on wager, just select 799 and select bet option ' combo' - is just permutation, ie 3 ways. For single digit set like 123, you have 6 ways, so selecting a 'combo' option will cost you $6 or $3 (50 cent or a $ pick

I do think that lottery can be viewed as an investment but it takes a huge amount of confidence in your method. I do not currently play the system that I posted here but I did in 2010 and had a profitable year. I think that if people researched a system and found that that system was profitable in the long run and have the ability/determination to ride out the lows with the highs they could use the lotto as a supplemental income. Nice investment strategy, but the question to pose, do you consider lottery as investment? most people play for the thrill and excitement, even if they lose. If the government can tax you on winning tickets, then your cost of waging is tax deductible on yearly returns. I started using this in 2010 in NY and it was quite profitable. I think if it were fine tuned or had some alerts built in on when to play and when to hold it could be more profitable. Feel free to tinker with it and let me know what you come up with. All input is welcome. FYI this was a loser for 2012 in NY

Ranman17 interesting concept. I was curious if you could do this daily rather than once a month. so I tested it. my testing indicates that for KY eve game, keeping the numbers for 1 to 3 days, every day, gives about the same winning percentage 30% increase.

checking midday, forget 1 day out but 2,3,4,5,6or 7 days all resulted in a 200% gain. this is over a 100 game period. the wins were clustered. you can have some long losing streaks, but well worth more testing.
