Wow, that's absolutely disgusting. I'd definitely report them to the Georgia Lottery, and I'd be very descriptive in explaining that the clerk proceeded to scratch the same ticket/game right after you bought 5 losers in a row. That's using one's position of power in order to take advantage of customers, and the lottery.

Nothing good to report. I have been in a slump. To top it off in my local Publix the cashier told me someone just hit $50,000 on Cash Spectacular. An 18 year old kid just turned 18 and his grandmother sent him a $100 through Western Union. He buys the lucky ticket with it. Some people have all the luck. Got 1 $5 $500,000 Bonus #046 that won $10 and 1 $5 Gold #030 that won $20 with a winall. $20 profit, I'll take it.

I quit playing $20+ tickets for the most part ($10's too), although those are the only way it seems like to win multi-hundred dollar prizes.

The best best part about it is I didn't give it all back. Used some of the $500 win on a trip and still have majority of the $600 win. Put $200 in savings. I bought one more after each win, lost and quit immediately. The $600 win was by chance. I wanted to buy a Cash Spectacular but she was out so bought the Max the Money! Nothing much to report. Tried one of the green $10 $100 Million Cash Out Tickets #019 and won $15 (3 matches for $5 each). The roll number on the back was pretty high, so maybe one of the green ones has a top prize. I never had any luck on the first batch, so maybe this batch will treat me better.

Haven't seen any of the soft releases in the stores by me. I know the $25 Jingle Jumbo Bucks ticket is out already and theres a $5 ticket that I can't find.

Tough break goherd. If you choose to do a couple times a month maybe stick to more of a limit. I know its easy to get caught up in the moment. Perhaps only walk in with that limit and if its gone its gone. Hope you do better next time.

The new tickets haven't done much for me, but the holliday tickets appear to be better. Never had much luck on holliday tickets though, but maybe this year things will change.

The new $20 ticket has some good odds for the lower prizes. 1/30 to snag $100 is what attracted me because I've hit $100 a couple times on the 1/59 odds with Ceasars.

I've been searching for a few days to find a machine that had them in stock (I only like to play the machines).

Got a $100 hit on my first ticket, 006. Cashed it and figured the rest of the role was dud, so It was a good one/done day.

F... GA lottery! I have had it. I play once or twice a month and get burned for at least $100 everytime. My last 3 outings went like this:

Finished a Cash Spectacular roll 007-000. 001 002 and 003 were back to back wins of free ticket, free ticket, $40.

Finished 100x roll 007-014. Not a single winner until ticket 014. It was a free ticket. It was so bad the clerk asked if I had scanned them to make sure. Of course I did.

Very quiet in this forum. I don't play very often. About once or twice a month around pay day. That is going to stop though. I can't get anything over $60 and that is usually after I have spent at least that. Sad thing is I play at 5 or 6 different stores all over town and the results are all the same. Odd thing is I never really would've thought to do $2 til I read one of your replies. I played a total of (wait for it...) $9 yesterday and won back $2. I was playing a good $50-70 a day for 3 or 4 days and had to make myself stop before I went broke. I got caught in the excitement of 'what if' and forgot the reality was I was losing money and a lot of it (well a lot compared to what I was winning). Older tickets can be good sometimes. I have won $500 twice on an older $10 ticket a couple years ago. Anything can happen new or old.

Just find what works for you at the end of the day. Sometimes the old tickets are bad, but sometimes there could be a hidden gem just sitting there.

Wow you've given me so much to think about, thanks for such detail! I'll def find what works for me, so far, I know that grocery stores are a no go...maybe they have a lot of scratchs off that just sit, I'm not sure at all. I haven't had much luck on the $20, more so on the $5 and $10...2 months back at random I won $75 on a $2, that was super cool, especially since I borrowed it from a friend in the store lol.

Don't get too many new GA people in the scratch off section. I started playing 3 years ago, and I have learned a lot. Honestly everyone's strategy is different and everyone has a different level of spending. I don't touch $20s or $30s that often. $10s every now and then, but I used to prefer that domination of ticket until they made the odds worse on them. I tend to stay in the $5 and $2 ticket range these days.

I JUST started playing. It's been ups and downs between me finding the amounts I like to play and the games.

So far I don't have too much luck with $5 tickets, unless it's the Red Hot 5s...I hit more often than miss.

I didn't do well at all with the $20 Silver game and got 3, lost them all.

I got 2 $20 Super 7s, lost one, won $50 on the other.

Any strategies or tips are greatly appreciated as far as how to buy. Doing a little research now, but open to all feedback :D

Every single one was a loser. Getting more irritated and frustrated. I guess they have to build the pot back up after the billion dollars they transfered to the education fund.

So I have tried the $5 Gold and $2 Silver only. Best win on the Gold so far is $10. I have broken even on that ticket just about it. $2 Silver my best win is $10, and that was on a win all with $1s under each.

Odds on the new tickets look pretty bad. $2 Silver looks ok for $2 I guess. $5 Gold I have to try cause I'm Gold lol. Odds don't look that great, but better than a lot of $5s.

$20 Platinum looks bad man. I like whats in each roll, but it shouldn't be 1 in 1,714 to win $500. Its a $20 ticket the odds should be 1 in 500 ish to win $500. I like the odds to win $2500 though. Thats fairly good I think.

Too late! Chased on Max the Money 2 days in a row and got my arse handed to me. Yesterday played tickets 001-009 and got 2 Free tickets and $50. Staying persistent on a ticket pays off. I have played the $5 Red Hot 5s quite a few times. Definitely $100-$200 worth, but I have had plenty of luck on them. In the last 10 days I haven't had too much luck except on the $5 Red Hot 5s. I have had another $20 winner and a $15 Winner on that ticket. Also a couple days ago I won $16 again on the $5 The Cash Wheel Ticket. $32 is best winner I had on The Cash Wheel, but that was 2-3 months ago.

Sorry to hear Goherd. I've had similar splurges before, but it isn't sustainable. It leads to a vicious cycle of chasing. If someone is buying through that many duds on a $25 ticket, chances are it is mostly likely a revenue generating roll with a poor return of probably $300/$1000. We have many rolls like that in FL. Buying one or two from a roll and being done is the way to go.

I bought ticket 013 and lost. The last $500 win on 100x was on ticket #012 so I bought one more and sure enough! Didn't buy anymore until after work. I bought 2 50x tickets and a 20x. Got a free ticket on one of the 50x and then this on the 20x

goherd, I'll be rooting for ya on the $10M Cash Spectacular second chance. I like how that's done. In Florida the few second chance drawings that happen are piddly. I know the odds are ridiculous, but saving one top prize for the second chance is nice (although the completely ambiguous years-long wait for the game to end--rather than just having a set date, however far out--is annoying).

The new tickets coming out next week seem pretty lame outside of the $5 ticket. I'll have to see the prize structure on it, but its called Super Tripler Win.

Its just a match and win with a few symbols, but theres a triple bonus box. I'd guess theres some weird prizes on that ticket like a $300 winner or something.

Yeah I haven't seen one either. This is definitely my favorite $5 ticket since I started playing scratch offs. I have probably won $10 or $15 5-7 times, $20 once or twice, $25 once. Even hit the $8 prize one time along with ticket a few times.

I played a scratch off ticket today for the first time in almost 2 weeks. Played 2 $2 Red Hot 5s and 1 $5 Red Hot 5s.

Only winner was on the $5 Red Hot 5s and it was this....

When you feel like playing just tell yourself, how much am I willing to lose? Play that amount every now and then. If you lose it all walk away and don't look back or 2nd guess it. Good luck to you.

My urge to play higher priced tickets is gone. I tried the $25 Mighty Jumbo Bucks ticket today #008 and it lost.

Played some other tickets as well in which I won back $8 of $20. The $8 was a $8 winner on the $5 Red Hot 5s.

Really bad start to June. I'll do the $5s and the $3 Home Depot until further notice. The $10s and $20s aren't worth it right now IMO. If the new tickets for the month are $10s or $20s and they look appealing then I'll try them, but the ones out now I won't try.

That's solid advice Goherd. Here in Jacksonville, FL I'd say I have had similar experiences as Falcon recently. The payouts certainly are sporadic . I've cut down alot recently because it is very easy to get burnt.

Been there Falcon! Some days are just crappie. I play at several different stores and I think that is the only reason I am successful sometimes. I play at 3 near my job and 5 around where I live. Last night I bought a few and lost from my Publix. Went to the gas station up the street and spent $80 on one Caesar and 2 Cash Spectacular from different bins and left. I QUIT!! The scratch itch hit me hard today and went nuts. Went through about 30-40 tickets between $20 100x, $20 21st anniversary, $20 7,500 a week and $30 supermax from 2 stores. Highest winners was $50 twice and down $300- $400 overall. Horrible.

Came to realize my area just sucks. One of the stores I frequent goes through 2-3 rolls per day in the $30 tickets and I'm yet to see more than a couple $500 winners in A MONTH. I asked the clerk and said nothing big lately, well no wonder why.... [ More ]

Yeah it didn't but the losses this year have been disheartening. I'll try one again soon for sure. I just can't do back to back at that price. The $10s are so bad and the $20s don't have much upside so I'm better off doing $30s I guess. $5s and I guess $30s will be my targets for now.

Sorry to hear that Falcon. Same luck here. I have been playing here and there. I have hit several $100 wins but also went through a roll of Cash Spectacular that had a $50 winners and 2 Free tickets. Super Max has heated up for me lately. I have gotten the SUPER symbol several times.

Sorry to hear Gold. Don't beat yourself up too bad. I am sure the $30 didn't take food off the table. Those $30 games are hit and miss. Most times I buy 2.

Played a $30 ticket today for the first time in at least a year probably 18 months or so. I decided to go with the Super Max The Money just on a whim. I got ticket #007.

Now You're probably thinking at this point I won a big prize, but I didn't win squat. Teaser ticket all the way through. This is why I never play those tickets man. $20s I feel are much worse though and the upside isn't as high.

I hadn't had the urge to play a good bit at one time in a while, but yesterday was that day.

Played $45 in $5 tickets and 1 $20 Super 7 ticket #014.

Only won $5 3 different times on the $5 tickets obviously.

I think I'm done with $20 tickets. The odds keep getting worse on them. I'd rather go higher upside with the $30.

Going cold turkey till at least June 1st. Wish me luck

These new Games from the GA lottery are not worth a cent of my money. The odds on all of these new games are absolutely the worst every release since i started playing. Especially the $20 game. Finally got some luck today. Played 1 $25 Jumbo, 1 $20k windfall and 2 $30 super max. The $20 k windfall hit for $50, the second $30 super max hit for $60, and the $25 Jumbo hit for $200!!

Now look up the odds for this particular prize and make your comment. Walked out with a nice $200 profit. Falcon out.

First day release luck today.

Played the 2 $1 Red White Blue both lost

$3 Let's Win This (Which has decent odds) #099 $5 winner

$5 $, no seriously thats what its called lol, #059 $20 winner!

So $10 spent and $25 back!

New $20 ticket seems worse than the 20K winfall odds wise even though the overall odds are pretty close.

Might play again tomorrow, but we'll see.

The ridiculously greedy GA lottery are coming up next week with another $20 ticket with a top prize less than 1 million. It's nothing but profit for those people with this kind of games, this are cash cows and they know it. To make matters worse, this games don't even have bad good for $500 and 1k. Just bad.

I have returned to addict status. So needless to say I am out of the game. I have quit several times and every time I return I say I can control it. I do for awhile then eventually it gets out of hand again. This time I will exit before I drain my accounts to donate to the GA lottery. I always get this way after trying to recoup my losses only to be further in the hole and can't get out. It's been fun and depressing all at the same time. Good luck to those who are playing.

Definitely way easier to play $10s and $5s. Some $5's have pretty good odds like the Red Hot $5s. Discipline is key to staying ahead of the game along with a little luck.

All my good wins this month have been on $5 and now $3 tickets. Today I finally hit something good on the Frogger ticket.

I think it is easier when you play tickets $10 and below. I don't play many of those when I play because I know the odds are bad. So if you win $20 - $25 on those you quit because most likely you won't do any better. On $20 on up tickets the odds are better so you play more knowing you have a better chance to win a large prize. The $10s and up seem brutal right now. I'm having great luck on $5 tickets lately. I usually have the most luck on $10 tickets, but its flip flopped to $5s.

I'm lucky I have a lot of self control. I wish I had that when I had that amazing streak of luck. Could have saved me a few hundred bucks or so.
