I would never copy/paste VBA off the internet without knowing what it did 1st. I work IT and someone I work with use to do it all the time.

there was an ad when I visted this thread. Lynda.com

It has a search function.

Mr. excel is good.

There is only two veteran guys on YT that do excel well from what I know.

Of course there are fringe teachers.

Thats where I learned arrays. They are pretty and cool, but they aint helping me win too much.

Bill Jelen and some other dude are on YT.

And some student of mr excel is teaching VBA on YT too.

I was watching the video but I got bored.

You posted the wrong function. You needed =SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIF($A$2:$A$10,$B2:$B10)). Use comma or semicolon according to your OS.

Sumproduct works, but there is no product, just a sum. Both functions aren't usable for pick 3/4.

You are supposed to pick the easy one.

I stopped using nested functions for custom functions.

Thank you to anyone who have tried to help including those who sent me messages.

I found this solution on a website:

=SUMPRODUCT(ISNUMBER(MATCH($D$16:$W$16;$D$17:$W$17;0))+0)

It's supposed to check for occurences of same numbers between the drawn numbers and the predicted numbers.
