OK here is what I do.... First you usually have a bonus number ie the power ball number. Seperate this number from the rest as it is drawn separate from the larger pool. Look at the other 5 numbers kinda like a five number lottery. It is much easier to simpley play a most frequent bonus number set and reducce the number of combos played. The Average Sum In A 6/49 Game Is Between 115-185.

The Chart Below Is From GH's Most Probable Range Of Sums

Why use GH's charts if you track and play the game? I track and play Ohio's Classic Lotto(6/49) and these are the figures from its last 1102 drawings.

All sums = 45 - 257

95% = 87 - 216

80% = 111 - 198

If you don't mind, I live in Texas. What would be the Field ranges for the Powerball , Mega Millions, Texas Two Step and Lotto Texas? Is this information easily available?

What steps do you take to narrow down or pick your numbers using the Sums? Is there a so to speak magic formula LOL What I mean is do you say take the 6/49 for example which your range is 115-185. What % do you use for each ball or how do you pick

The Sums In Jackpot Games Is Far Different Than Pick3/Pick4 Sums.

In JP Games You Add Up All The Numbers Together For Your Sum.

Ex. 9-12-22-25-38-45 Added Together Would Equal 151.

The Average Sum In A 6/49 Game Is Between 115-185.

I am pretty good with excel and have a formula that converts the whoe numbers to the roots automatically. Question: wouldnt the smallest be 1 and largerst say 59=14=5 ... so wouldnt that consit off all number? Ehat am I missing?

If SUMS then ignore my ststement about all numbers 1-59

Do you use rooots?

Do I want SUMS or ROOT or BOTH

Sums are easy. Just make some statistics on highest sum and lowest sum appearing in the last 30-50 draws and make sure the sum of the lines on your lottery ticket or wheel is somewhere between lowest sum and highest sum.

Use a spreadsheet for statistics. You might need lottery software to automatically create the lines based on sum.

Some lottery software might do the statistics as well, but I do not know which one does.

I play mainly jackpot games but to me numbers are numbers. Can someone give me the run down , readers digest version or details on how to use sums / roots to predict the next number(s)? I've just recently documenting them. Now that have all this data what do I do with it?
