MM and PB aren't the only lottery games available in most states but they are the most popular ones which proves people like their format the most. Most players say they would like games with smaller matrix and better odds of winning and yet such games aren't as attractive as the ones that are harder to win.

The biggest obstacle is the players - as long as they'll play no matter what such efforts won't get anywhere. When MM went to a 75 number matrix the players should have wised up and boycotted it, but oh no, the opposite happened.

The taxes are outrageous on winnings especially given most folks are small earners who were lucky enough to win a one time large sum of money. Not like they won't be paying plenty of taxes on their winnings through their various means of spending it.

I agree, as I posted in my blog, I compared myself to other lottery players that I know. We drink, we smoke and we gamble. We pay heavily on all the sin taxes. Then to add insult to injury, we pay more taxes when we win. In AU they don't tax lottery winnings.

It would be nice if they reformed the lottery. My suggestion is to remove the taxes on it. Only half of every dollar wagered goes into building the jackpot. So the states already have earned their rightful share. The tax on the winnings is just robbery. My 2

Reform the lottery

I have played the lottery in several states during my travels. (Including Sydney AU) after comparing rules, payouts, etc to my home state lottery, I am trying to change it. I started a website, but I know I can't post it here. However, if google reform lottery you will find it. I'd love to hear comments posted both here and on my website.
