The more tickets you buy the bigger the probability of winning. If there are 10 cards and you pick one card your probability of picking the right one is 1/10. If you pick another card then your probability rises to 2/10. By now you have doubled your odds of getting the right card but you are still not close to covering half the odds. By the way it's possible to pick 9 cards and still not pick the right card. That's when you're allowed to scream wtf?!! Lol

For 462 combinations the payouts are different following to how you played them and what numbers were drawn.

If you don't want to pick numbers or play a quick pick there still is the wheel covering all numbers. The odds may stay the same or not, you don't know, but they are.

The highest payout that you can get is playing one ticket and winning the jackpot alone when the payout is highest.

I'll disagree slightly. I think that being 100 times more likely to win is much better by any reasonable definition. The problem is that being much better is still extremely lousy when the starting point is so incredibly bad.

Using an odds calculator and entering the number of tickets/chances you're buying will tell you the exact amount you're changing your odds.

Your math is correct. It actually increases your odds, not lowers them. Whether it increases your odds by much is based on your definition of much .

if its one in like 12 million and you buy lets say 400 tickets 40o devided by 12 million would be 30000 would be like 1 in 30 thosand.

what im trying to get at, is buying multi tickets lower your odds by much
