I guess it depends on one's definition of a system worth sharing and mine (if there is such a system) is one that creates enough revenue to bet more than 50 cents of my winnings on the next try. I'm talking about a proved winning system, one where the amount of the next bet depends on how much we won on the last bet.

Playing these games is truly a science and requires some reasonable math skills in terms of money handling

your post does not explain anything. I looked at it. Perhaps you can explain, I too dont have a system per say, I do my own workouts, and most of the time I have so many numbers I dont go play. Many numbers can be the next hit, but if you have to spend 70+ to try its not worth it. I want to know how these people make so much money. I spend hours and still half the time I dont play. For the largest part, you're absolutely correct. It takes money to make money...mainly to do it consistently. Even then, you'd better know how to bet and be certain of your system or that chunk is gone.

This depends on three things: How much money they have to work with, the cost to play each draw, and the overall chances of hitting with the numbers they're playing on the draw in question. A 'safe bet' is a lesser wager that the player can afford to actually lose and still be able to play the next round...and it's still on the house. In the event of a win, they simply win less money yet they were still covered otherwise.

I've had people offer to come up with a bunch of numbers to play, all I had to do buy the tickets and share the winnings with them. They would do the heavy work of coming up with numbers and I could the light work or earning the money for the tickets and buying them. Now that's sharing

I heard a player trying to get triples for multiple drawings and the clerk said the first three drawings were sold out. In some states triples and quads sell out every day.

There is a recent lottery article about a player winning $200,000 playing pick-4 another story about a Steve Player system. If there are systems or formulas that consistently win lottery games, why is it news when someone bets $42 or $105 and wins on a single drawing when they should be betting the max?

When Ohio had Buckeye5(5/37) which paid $100,000 to the winner, it had a cap of one million dollars so if more than 10 tickets won it went pari-mutual and each winning tickets got a share of the million dollars.

A players who claimed he hadn't read the rules brought twenty tickets with the same combination that won. He sued when he wasn't paid two million dollars and lost.

Well said. Now lets add the element of Parimutuel payouts. Which means *IF* you give out your system and ONE other person uses it to hit the JACKPOT with you, you just lost out on 1/2 the jackpot. I will share some of what I do and play but only about 20%.

Some people are not sharer, be it the lottery or anything else. Some things aren't meant to to shared. That's just how it is. I don't mind sharing strategy or observations when it comes to the lottery. That's just me. If it's a game like Pick-3 or Pick 4, then I think it's fine to share but maybe a Jackpot game not so much if you have a system that's works. Just my 2 centavos.

Ohio has a cap on the number of times a combination can be played in the number games(pick3, 4 and 5). If a players plans on playing the same combination a number of times hoping for a big win then it would be foolish for him to share that information and not get a chance to play them himself.

I figure if someone does the work to come up a winning combination to play why should he/she care about others who are too lazy or dumb to do the same

I have a system for Daily 4, but it's not very consistent, so I never saw any point in sharing it. Frankly, I don't try to use other people's systems when I play. What may work for one person may not work for another, and I can lose just fine with my own numbers. LOL.
