I really do think so. I have student loan debt and right now hitting the lottery for 100,000 was be so nice. I mean I could start a whole new life. Money is suppose to be a currency but for some it food, water, clothes and shelter. I hate when people say money can't bring you happiness .....I all ways wondered, then what do I need it for? Because it sure can bring you sadness and pain. Just sayin

Yes, I have played my own numbers and quick picks for over 17 years and yes I stress over my numbers not coming out all the time. Part of the stress is me believing that the lotteries are not totally true random number picking. I also feel that the lottery looks for the least played number sets and it is stressful trying to create a least played number set.

I play the lottery every other day, I was curious do people ever play number's and not worry if they lose out on money ? Or do they stress over it like I have. I want to take a more laid back approach to buying ticket's..

Hoping to win here in Canada, so I can travel away from the cold.

Hi Shelby Mustang,

I agree with your post. Even in many marriages I'm sure that lack of money is a big issue. Having financial security was one of the reasons for my playing the lottery in the first place. There is something freeing about not being tied down to a job and being able to take control of your life and how you choose to live it without the constraints of worrying about paying the bills.

Money doesn't buy you happiness... but it sure helps!

I don't think there's anyone here who's claiming that financial security would make them completely happy. If they are, they're fooling themselves. However, no longer needing to worry about money ought to be good for something. Sure, I think financial security would make me happier than I am currently. I hereby volunteer to win a multi-million dollar jackpot and find out

Oh absolutely. I'm a pretty happy person already. Not having enough money is my only stressor. It bothers me that I'm not in a position to help loved ones with medical expenses or college tuition. It bothers me that my hours rarely allow me time to stop and smell the roses. Financial security will allow me to help out those that I love and will buy me the free time to either spend with them or spend doing the things I love. Those things will definitely increase my happiness factor.
