I don't buy more tickets unless the jackpot is really high. I only buy Powerball and Megamillions on my own when it's over $100 million, I concentrate on Easy 5 and Louisiana Lotto even though the prizes are smaller, the odds are better. I also have a lottery pool that buys Powerball, Lotto, and MegaMillions, which only costs me $4 every 2 weeks, so I have the games covered there too.

I do admit that when I have extra cash I buy more tickets but this month I got $20 so it is $4 tickets until the $20 is gone. I play with the megaplier so at least my prize will be multiplied by something. Hoping for that $1 million pay out I could take that any day of the week.-weshar75

Big jackpots strike me the opposite way, as they groe I hope they get hit before the fever kicks in. The media goes nuts, all of a sudden there's all these 'experts', and on TV and in the News threads people go really nuts talking about all the things they're going to do with money they haven't won.

I must admit that when a big one gets hit and things calm down on LP most threads are about Pick 3, kind of entertaining.
