I will absolutely be leaving as soon as possible. My wife and I talk about moving back to her home country of Dominican Republic or maybe another carribean island. This is only if the J.P is high enough. Under 20 million I'll prob move to a warm state, i'm sick of snow and bad winters.

There are mosquito issues pretty much everywhere you go on the coast of Mexico. I have vacationed and enjoyed Belize for many years. I still love the United States and can't think of any other place in the world that I would call home.

Nice- this to me is the greatest country in the World.

Personally: living in the Bay Area affords me the luxury of having the Pacific Ocean , snow skiing 3-4 hours away in Tahoe, Yosemite Valley, Disneyland and much more all within 7 hours drive.

Would not trade that for anything.

Gogi, good points all around.....Canada might be an option, but I may lean towards AK and live off the grid if things go bad. No need for the www in that part of the country and I won't have much interest. Going to have a spot with many acres and a trout stream in the mountains, doesn't matter if all is good or bad.
