Find out for myself, a news cast may narrow it down to a store but can you be sure that it was you?

When the $652M MM jackpot got split three ways in Mar of 2012 the Illinois winnder lived in a small town. Someone had started a rumor that some other person in town had won it and that person was on the local news saying he had to explain everywhere he went, It wasn't me, it wasn't me.

I'd rather know right away because who knows what could happen to me in that time and what I COULD have been doing. That is months of me not being in a mansion and driving my ferrari.

I live in a small town and no one ever talk about anyone else winning a prize unless it's a jackpot. I've won as much as $1500 and I would have never known about it if I had waited to hear about it fron someone else instead of checking my ticket myself.

Literally cannot happen to me. I check my tickets the very next day, at the latest the day after that.

Long time ago, when I played our SuperLotto, I'd find expired tickets in my wallet, etc. I never checked those numbers because I didn't want to find out. Hard to imagine, I'd do anything remotely close to that these days.

I log my plays in Excel and check my tickets within a day (usually within hours) of the draw.

I normally don't check my tickets right away but if I heard a winning ticket was sold in my townyou can bet I will be checking the numbers ASAP.

For instance: You buying one or more tickets, forgetting to check your pockets, days turn into weeks, weeks into months...THEN you read about an unclaimed multi million dollar lottery ticket that is still hanging out there, only to find out that it's yours?

Or immediately checking your ticket/ tickets after the draw and knowing you have a losing hand?
