But it sounds like you have some smart idea, that is far superior to the ideas the guys that billionaire Ty Warner was paying millions for. With a win like this, you'd have enough money as him. Easily enough to defend against a case and pay the multipleX penalty on the amount you saved.

Listen once you already paid the IRS taxes claiming the ticket.. You have that right to take the money to Cayman Islands and leave it there tax free and the IRS can't touch it after you already paid the taxes to begin with.. I know what i am talking about and i know a WA state Lottery winner and not going to name him.. He did that and he took 4 million and put it in the Cayman islands and not paying a dime.. 2 Hire tax, lawyers, and have a bank of Cayman rep fly in to take part of this process.

Hi Mattapan,

Really like your plan. Like yourself I would also get a team of advisors before coming forward. I really wish our state of Mass. would allow anonymity, I'm extremely shy and really worry about any kind of a press conference and my and my family's security when everyone knows who I am. I know the first few days of winning a jackpot I'd be stunned and probably look at my winning ticket so many times to make sure I won, lol (have ocd).

My wife and I already have a plan. I have season tickets so if they win, I would put my wife and children up in a very nice hotel the same day and call my sister and tell her to quit and come stay with my wife and kids at the hotel. I would call my partner(we have a 25% deal. Whoever wins would give the other person 25%, we have a signed agreement) and tell him about the win and have him meet me at hotel.
