It actually doesn't matter the size of the jackpot....they will still come for you. As soon as there is a winner, they submit an open records request for the contact information (anonymous states are an exception of course). Most of those who request this are investment groups, banks, etc. The other majority of requests come from charities. You will have at least 10 different entities snatch your info.

I wouldn't mind winning my CA SuperLotto Plus which has been rolling for awhile at $38 million. Like someone said, it's not going to garner much attention, if any at all.

What stinks is picking 5 of 5 numbers in our CA Fantasty 5 and winning ~$9,000 because 6 people won at the reset jackpot of ~$54,000. Happened last night.

I would not mind winning a JP around $100 mil, reason being- it could be easily forgotten by the media and the general public.The press is looking for that $300 mil above winner.

I could be wrong about this but if you in a State that does not allow anonymity, you could very well be free clear from nosey press neighbours by slipped under the radar...perhaps
