If one can build a simple and uncomplicated timing mechanism within a system by creatively measuring or marking time in other ways, maybe the timing won't be so off; Better yet, rather than marking time, we can creatively mark draws, which is really a way of marking time. Then instead of waiting for a number of draws before your number hits, you can frequently hit the immediate next draw.

Yes, I agree with you in the usage of philosophy and intuition. Yet, I would also throw in stats, math, lots of logical deduction and all of much of anything else, because its all very useful. The Rub is in HOW you apply it.

Most systems work, 'yes', but often not within the time frame that a lot of people look at, such as within the next couple draws.Patience is key. Thankfully numbers work a lot like the universe itself. As day follows night, so numbers follow each other. Yes Jimmy, you are right that in the long run, using 1 draw is not enough to neutralize the house advantage, and so I too always recommend that people use at least 2 draw. I must say though, I find I can still bend and conform to another person's style of play, while contributing something small to help expand it. I try to meet peolple where they are . No matter what system you propose for pick 3 and pick 4 you have to overcome the first 50% advantage the house has. I would think that would be the first question you should ask yourself about any system being proposed or considered.

1. Can I present a system of variables and timings so that at a particular point in time I can neutralize the 50% advantage the house has?

While I believe that both paths are valid and of course have their place, I practice linear progression most of the time. I've done much random exploration, especially when stuck in a rut, and kicking up dust like a Tasmanian Devil often yielded golden flakes. Some state track others. Some states are computerized and others are not. Math and numbers interest me because of my backround in electronics. Some sytems mimic others but I learn something everyday.

I go back to page 250 in the systems forum and read all the old stuff. Nothing is in concrete. People make statements about percentages that maybe true for a few states but not all of them.

If there's a way to contact the person who wrote this, please ask them for a real life, long-term and successful example using the p-3 from any state he/she wishes. Thanks.

No approach, random or linear will be successful everytime, nor will one or the other be more efficent. There are too many variables which don't make any pattern sense whatsoever.

Just find a good system and set a trap. And if you're lucky, you'll bet big. That's the best I've seen do far.

I used this strategy when l was in College-its like when you sorting out a chick from the rest of the herd, to use your words it comes about when you make a definite decision on how you will approach the chick and you keep improving your system based on that one approach - it worked for me dude.

Excellent Post!!! I have tried many methods over the years, mostly my own. Some have worked better than others. Some work well for awhile then cool off. What I am now finding out is, you need to find one thing that happens very frequently. Whether a workout, pattern, or trend, you need to find something that happens or hits, at least 80% of the time. I'm not talking about singles vs. doubles in P3, or a # repeating from yesterday. Everybody knows that... (cue Geico commercial lol).

the only chance u got trying to figure it out is play pick 3 hot cold digits follow doubles, play pairs just play pick 3, forget about pick 4 and all the other games, try and follow a system of your own, you have all the tools on the pc to track the history. i only play pick 3 i do ok, on a monthly basis im useually ahead,, i have won many times over 1000 dollars on a hit i spend abot 15.00 a day midday and eve, i concentrate on doubles and track the history when i see it i bang it, and drop all... To improve your system you are looking at new ways to play...so......to me anyway...that's why we (me) trys everyones system

If it said use one approach the same way and never change it it would be one thing but that isn't what the person is saying?

What works one week or month or whatever for one state, all states, doesn't work always

I hope you can explain the two concepts you alluded , unless you're the owner ' Pick 3 mastery' a former LP member(Can't mention name 'cos of LP rules )if not then ,the statement should be rightfully attributed to him. Now to the merits of the two concepts, there seem to be a disconnect with the use of 'VS'.
