It get's me when you get one of those lottery pros hovering around the register calling out random numbers for the clerk to put into the system. Seems just as you think it's over, here come some more random numbers. Get out of the line, and put those numbers on a slip.

Gib me uhhhh....uhhhh 000 .50 box, and uhhhhh number 3, and uhhhhh uhhhh...

yup....anything and everything pertaining to Connecticut 's lottery.

But above all, the biggest insult has to be buying $10's worth of one dollar tickets(same one) and not even winning a free ticket.It blows my mind

how often that has happened to me in the past and really gets my blood boiling for some reason.

This has happened more than once, when I gave my winning tickets to the clerk and he say's you won $18.00, when the true count is $24.00. The clerk say's, 2 tickets must have gotten stuck together. yea, right.

A lot of them used to keep forms on hand for customers who needed to mail in the claim. I didn't think they did now that the forms are available on the internet, but I guess some people aren't online. Sounds like the clerk was just helping fill out the forms for her customer to mail in.

Payout at the Store! No Way! Sorry, I guess I took it for granted that it was understood that for winnings such as that the paperwork must be submitted to the State Lottery Commission so that the State Taxation Department can send you a 1099 statement at the end of the year.

The lady in front of me won $ 3,250 on a straight combination in Pick 4. The store owner gave her the paperwork to fill out to get her money. She refused to fill it out herself and handed it back him. She then proceeded to go into her purse and pull out her Social Security Card; Driver's License; Home Address; Phone Number; Shoe Size; etc. for the store owner to fill out the paperwork for her while the rest of us standing in line waited impatiently. lol Those people are just as bad in the grocery line. I have always made it a rule to stand far away from people in line and one time this crazy woman accused me of standing near her. I had placed a divider on the conveyer type thing and was at least 5 ft away. She proceeded to take her arm and knock my items onto the floor. I told the clerk to call security. Having a number I've been chasing bet up, midday and evening for 3 draws, it hits on the 4th draw, and I didn't have it, and it's been out, for 10 years.

1234 hit, 3 times this year so far, so I should have stayed with my 1233 longer.

Tired of looking at these tickets that are winners the day before and not the day of.

And, Ohio dropped it today midday, and I think I'm going to put it back out there since it's been gone for 10 years.

When at the counter conducting my business with cash and lottery tickets, the next person behind me is too close . I was at Publix one time, and this old lady stood right next to me at the counter, you would have thought she was my mother. Please stay a minimum of 4' from me!

When you are in line for lottery tickets, you should give the person at the counter room as you would at an ATM or a bank window.
