Well, in my game only 6 streaks of no doubles went 12 games or more, and 4 of those hit at 12 games so 4/6 = 67%. But, not many chances to play with this choice.

Say, let me run this question by you and see what you think.

If you only had one chance per year to trap a double .........which PLAY DAY would you go with? What one day would you think best odds?

.....or better yet .....if it were the last bet ...and the biggest bet of your playing career to catch a double which one day would be the best ?

Most folks looking at the stats would pick the 3rd day to take their ONE last big bet SHOT right?

Just like clockwork!

There is considerable variation over a shorter time frame, though -- I call it the 'doubles cycle'. I track doubles in the last 15 games and that statistic ranges, in my data, from 0% to 66.6%, generally from 13.3% (2 doubles in 15 games) to 46.6% (7 doubles in 15 games). When I see the low statistic I know a run of doubles is coming and when the percentage gets up in the high 40's or low 50's I know to expect fewer doubles in the next week.

27% doubles after 2 years worth of stats and we still end up with the Expected Math averages...........27%. You have to love it !

Almost perfect. It's almost always that way for all of the games here.

That's what keeps us hanging around right? It's just too bad we can't ever put all of our weight on them all of the time. That's the advantage of Cut off Rules ...right?

Data covers 365 days from July 1, 2012 thru June 30, 2013. Midday and Evening draws combined. 202 doubles. 730 draws. 27.6

I wanted to ask this question. Doubles can be classified as either a front pair (DDX), back pair (XDD), or side pair (DXD) double. Could we eliminate doubles by NOT using the last double type . For example, Georgia evening last BakToBak was 8-2-8 (side double) and the previous drawing was 9-9-6 (front pair double). Could we have filtered all the Front Pair doubles?

Hi Jimmy....

Yes it would raise my eyebrows and a red flag too Jimmy. Normal expected hit rateper 365 game for doubles would normally be 99-100

I did a very quick scan of Ontario from Jan 2012/to 2013 for doubles that year... and got 95 doubles --------- also checked 2013/to 2014 and got 102 doubles

During the last year they had26 B2B doubles which is actually ..... almost right on the money for B2B doubles for one year.

202 doubles out of 730 draws seems in line with the number of doubles to expect 27% if you are treating them as a combined draw.

Now 202 doubles out of 365 draws would raise a red flag in my mind.

Interesting concept Chaz.

Chart below calculates how many times a single double has been drawn. For example, Arizona evening drawings, the last double was on 3/25/2014 4-4-7 which was NOT a BakToBak. The previous double was a BakToBak double on 3/19/2014 3/18/2014 4-5-5 9-0-9. The 1 indicates we had a single double whereas Georgia evening only draws has 11 single doubles and the last BakToBak doubles where on 2/8/2014 2/7/2014 8-2-8 9-9-6.

202 doubles

57 (28%) were B2B

35 (24% of possible) skipped 1 game from previous

25 (23% of possible) skipped 2 games from previous

58% of doubles will be followed by another double within 3 games.

Its one of the better bets in the game.

Ga mid has hit 126 dbls in the last year. 49 of those were BaktoBak, 35 were after 1 skip.

84/126= 67% of the hits were 2 or less draws.

77% of hits were 3 or less draws. In Ga mid, you better always have a dbl on your mind.

max skip is 14 draws.

Ga .....and all the other 365 draw p-3 games get around ......99 doubles a year.

Guess (on average) how many BaktoBak doubles we get a year. It comes in sorta handy when ever a double hits right? Right....

Next time a double is due.....check and see how many of the last few doubles were BaktoBak. LONG time ago for Ga EVE!
