If you know the clerks at the stores you buy tickets, ask if there were any middle tier wins from the packs currently being sold. If there were $50, $100, $500 wins already from the pack, the likelihood is that the remaining winners will be break-even prizes.

l think the best way to play scratch off tickets is to scratch it and see. Like an itch- scratch and see if you get relief- same with the ticket: You either a winner or a loser.

I normally wait until the next day to scratch my ticket. It gives me time to put that special voodoo move on the ticket.

I have been lucky as far as going to at least 4 different stores that move the scratch-game cards pretty fast. My luck has come from the end, middle and the beginning of the pack.

Some people believe tickets within a certain number range are more likely to win. I don't know if there is any evidence for this.

Sometimes people hold the tickets for a long period of time before they either scratch them or redeem the tickets. I was give a ticket at Christmas and I still have not scratched it. I am waiting for the right moment

How could there be a better way to play scratchoffs? You buy,you scratch,you win or you lose. There's a lot of myths out there when it comes to playing them but when it comes down to it, it's just the luck of the draw.

One tip you might consider is going to your state's website and see how many winners are left of each scratchoff. That way you won't be wasting your money buying them if the big one's already been won.

I'm now playing $20.00 scratch-off tickets once or twice a week. I try to buy from stores that do a lot of sells as far as scratch-off tickets. And I also stay with only the new scratch-off games. Do you have a better way of playing scratch-off games
