RL, I am still practising with the steps program. I run into a small problem though. For example, last nights MM draw was 23-25-28-30-75. The lexi next to the draw has interpreted this as 1293E+07. When I run the three steps for (E+), I came up with converted numbers (3,3) for positions five and six. Thus, it should read 12933307. When I put this number in the Mini-Lex, I came up with a different result of............ 18-31-48-50-74. My question is why the E+? And number two why the wrong result... [ More ]

dr san

My number one reason for switching to the lexie was to generate one line to play. Playing

number digits like you suggest might be easier to predict, I don't know but even if we do then

we still need to filter down or have a large play budget. As I have talked about many times in

the past about trapping the JP in 100 or fewer lines only to lose it in the final filtering stages.

That really sucks and I never considered how hard it is to pick the winner out of even 100 lines.... [ More ]

The digit tools are not compatible with the lexie tools. They are two different methods

for building lines to play. They both require the user to pick so many digits but the digits

selected represent totally different things.

You can get indexes out using Excel with VBA. There was a post on that with functions. A lot is possible, but rarely worked out or published. Excel has a slow end for big loops, not for the small neat stuff. If your OS, your Excel and your hardware is okay, you can let it work for hours or days, if you want to. I once let my pc work non stop for like eight days, then I stopped it. XP could do it. Writing a good program is mostly not a fast job.

Here is another example for using the mini-lex program. In this example I used 3 seed/key digits

and the program generated 1000 lines. You can see from the results that the overall odds for one

of these lines winning a prize is 1 in 2.538. For each digit place that is not used the program will

generate 10 lines with the exception of the first digit. My 5-39's max lexie value is 575757 so the

first digit must be from 0 to 5.
