Saturdays N.J. Pick 5 game appears to have 2 winners. The payout was $69,192 for 5 out of 5. The jackpot must of grown to over the advertised jackpot of $119K.

Thanks for the Tax info. So we owe taxes on amounts over $600.00, do you know if we can then take a deduction for lottery expense up to that $600.00?

See that 4 out of 5 prize amount has been as low as $291.00 to a high of $944.00. Guess it depends on the game jackpot and if there was no 5 out of 5 payout.

i hope they change the 4 out of 5 payoff to $500. It's a pain that you owe taxes on $600 or more.

If I'm going to pay taxes, I'd rather pay on several million, not several hundred

Looks like N.J. is planning to change the Pick 5 game. They sent out surveys asking for comments and

opinions on the new options.
