The cap is going to be the same....$50 million. Overall odds of winning will actually be worse though. Should be interesting.

If the new $5 national game I've been hearing about is like Lotto Max, even with a higher cap and more Maxmillion-type draws, I predict it won't do well in the U.S. Just sayin'.

For me the lottery games are number games that I can play for fun and eventually win small to big for little money.

If they charge more than one euro or dollar for a combination, this is no fun for me anymore. I prefer paying for a cup of coffee than for a combination Euromillions. I would love to play lotto with 50 cents a combination again.

There will be no single game that replaces PB and MM in the near future. For the time being it is more profitable to be diversified in game choices. The industry is in talks wanting a MUSL and Mega Millions Group merger, but this is not merging games but rather merging leadership.

If a single play costs over $2, I'll stick with the state games. I'll become one of those people who only plays the national game when the jackpot is ludicrously large.
