Oh yeah, I used to enter the HGTV one. I didn't last year, and guess what .. someone from Idaho won. LOL Can't win for losing.

That's no fun. I tend to avoid raffles because they are worse by payout than even state daily games. But at least it was for a good cause

I sometimes enter the free ones, i.e. HGTV Dream Home. But those get like 50 million entries

So sorry HoLeeKau, I know what a disappointment it is. Two years ago I bought a house raffle ticket from a college....low odds and I didnt win anything either. $100 is just too much to spend even with the good odds and the money goes to the college.

Hope you win next year if you choose to try again.

It used to be 7700, MrCraft, but this time I saw it was around 8500. I can't find the exact number now.

Well, I did it. I splurged $100 on a ticket for the local St. Jude's Dream Home raffle. I hadn't done that in several years but decided to go ahead and try it again. This year's home is only worth about $340K -- previous ones were worth about $100K more.

Anyone else enter the St. Jude's raffles, or any other big ones
