I had a place like that near me, a donut shop. For a while, I'd win every other time, nothing big, but better than break-even prizes. It continued for about 2 months, and then all of a sudden the winners stopped. Funny thing is that I'd visit occasionally to see if that streak might resume again, but nope.

I seem to have better luck at gas stations versus grocery stores as well.
