Have you played, or are you going to play Monopoly Millionaires Club?

I played it once, but it'll be a while before I play it again. It goes off tonite, but I'm passing on it. I've been reading all the threads here at The LP about it, and there's definitely a trick to playing it. The trick is that you gotta wait until the JP maxes out before you play.

I hope it doesn't last as long as SM, because SM ran from Sept of 2009 until June of 2014! Almost 6 years!

One telling thing will be if other states besides New Jersey and New York join the game. Right after the game was announced, it was said by The NY Lottery that other states will be joining too .... I think many people are thinking the same thing. When you look at the C4L payouts page on The NY Lottery's website, you don't see many JP's any more. I think that's because they aren't selling enough tickets to generate a high enough percentage of coverage of the 21 million possible combinations to produce a JP winner on a regular basis. Same problem Sweet Milly had!

I would think we wont see a virgin number pop tonte. Only one virgin was drawn last Monday nite, which was the 45. It's gonna be a while yet before we see all 60 balls having been drawn.

The 16 popped out 8 times by the time the last virgin SM number hit. (The 31 was the very last SM virgin number to be drawn.)

Right now, the 11 is C4L number that has hit the most since the game began. If it keeps up it's current pace, then I would guess that it will be the number that will have hit the most by the time the very last virgin number is drawn.

I did some digging in A+ and FWIW.....

Sweet Million saw it's last virgin number drawn during it's 26th drawing which was held on 12/14/2009. That's approximately 3 months after the game began. (SM's first drawing was held on 9/17/09)

I'm not too sure comparing Sweet Million to C4L is a good or even valid comparison. After all SM, only had 40 numbers to cycle thru, whereas C4L has 60. I used SM simply because it's the last new online game prior to C4L that was introduced by The NY Lottery.... [ More ]

Last nite was the 20th drawing of C4L, but only now am I beginning to see any meaningful data in A+. I do think it's going to be a year or more before A+ will show stats that might somewhat helpful.

Right now, the best I can see is broad or vague trends. This wont be any new news to anybody that studies lottery numbers, but most drawings will have a single digit... [ More ]

As of today, there are only 10 numbers yet to be drawn. So virgin numbers (as the Mink Man called them) have been steadily popping out.

Thanks guys for the corrections!! Its really interesting how the Cashball 4 is missing/cold, and that we have reg numbers that have hit 4 times already while others ZERO!!! Wonder which one will be the LAST to hit.

G5 Kap,

In Advantage Plus when you pull up the the menu on left side bottom under option A you can turn off the Bonus # and handicap the 5 Main numbas or do an Alt-B again and track just the Bonus numbas or combine them together. That said Kap the Cash Balls actually have hit the following times.............

1 hit 2 times

2 hit 9 times HOT

3 hit 7 times HOT

4 hit 1 time COLD play it Thursday!

The 10-11 31 have hit4 times each

A+ shows the 18 as having hit on 8/7, and I think you have a typo... it's the 39 that has yet to hit. The 38 hit on 8/4.

Other than those two little nits, you're dead on.

PS with all of this spare time on my hands, I started building a C4L spreadsheet with Excel. Still working it, but when I get it where I want it you can have a copy if you' like. G5

I too could comfortably and reasonably live on 250K a year. I know this because I don't know what it's like to live on 250K a year now, so I'm sure I could get a long just fine on $250K a year!

But for me, the key words in your post are never have to worry about money again .

I hate having to say to my wife Where's the money to pay for that going to come from? It would be so much easier (not to mention nicer) to say to her Oh, you want to buy that leather sofa? OK, it's only $5,000.

Update to my post above....

I did in fact see it in Winners Stories. Here's a cut 'n paste from it;

Aguayo will receive her CASH4LIFE prize in annual payments of $365,000 per year. After required withholding she will receive a net check totaling $227,410 every year for the rest of her life.

I suppose that statement can be interpreted different ways... Maybe they'll pay it 4 times per year, but these three words a net check make me think it's one check per year.

I knew somebody was going to ask me where I read/saw that the payout was a once per year thing!

I knew someone would ask me because I cant recall where I saw it, but I do remember being surprised by it when I read it. I too had been thinking that it would be quarterly, similar to how Set 4 Life and Win 4 Life scratch-off's are paid, so when I read it I found it surprising.

I'm going to guess and say I think I read it in the Winners Stories section of The NYL website.

Has it actually been stated somewhere how the payout is structured? I'm not saying I don't believe you that they pay it out once a year (because that sounds completely plausible), I just want to see it with my own eyes. I thought it might have been quarterly instead.

IMO, the for life provision is the carrot. You get less money up front, but it's the gift that keeps on giving. And it only takes three years to build up that million (pre-tax).

I think what might be driving the number of wins is coverage of all the possible 21 million combinations.

If one half of all the possible 21 million combo's is sold, (10.5 million different combo's) then the odds are 50/50 that a JP winning ticket will be sold.

Poor coverage was Sweet Millions problem. Typically, only 10 percent of the possible 3.8 million different combinations were sold, leaving 90 percent of the possible combo's unsold. That's why there were so few Sweet Million JP win... [ More ]

C4L is 5 times harder to win than Sweet Million

That's what i thought at first but apparently it's not. It's producing some good wins and that's all players need to hear to make this successful.
